...Two Weeks Later...
About two weeks had passed since the Inarizaki girls volleyball team had been officially selected and the team was pretty solid. The Inter-high prelims were only a few weeks away and they had been getting along great. They had been going out for food after practice, hanging out at lunches and just building their relationship as a team.
Their captain, Chiki believed a strong team relationship was an important part of the game and the other girls shared her view. The better you connect with each other, the more you are able to understand each other on the court.
Suzume couldn't be happier with the way things were going, although she did still miss her old team from time to time.
As for Atsumu, he felt like he was spending less and less time with the olive eyed girl because, as he put it, the girls were 'stealing' her away from him.
It was lunchtime and the boys were currently sitting outside on an outdoor table. Atsumu was muttering to himself as he sent death glares towards the girls volleyball table, angrily eating his food. Osamu looked at his brother and he couldn't decide whether he wanted to laugh or hit him.
"Yer not even datin' 'Tsumu, why are ya gettin' so jealous?" He asked deciding that he was in fact irritated with his moody other half.
"I just miss my friend that's all!" He defended and everyone rolled their eyes. They knew he was whipped for this girl, a girl that wasn't even his.
"Then why don't you just go and ask her to hang?" Suna suggested, his eyes not lifting from his phone.
"I have! But then those savages show up outta nowhere and drag her away from me!" Atsumu collapsed on the table in defeat, it was like he was having an existential crisis.
The boys all shared a look. They were completely over his childness, yet they still found it amusing.
"Dude, you seriously need to focus, Inter-high is going to be here before you know it and here you are moping like a little teenage girl!" Gin yelled.
"I- I am focused ya idiot!"
The next day, Suzume was sitting at her desk waiting for Suzuya when a familiar candy haired girl waltzed in.
"Oh, hey Seki-san." She greeted the girl with a smile and a small wave, however she looked rather irritated. She was wary of her considering the way she was when they first met, but she still decided to show her some.
"Have you seen Atsumu-kun?" Seki asked getting straight to the point while picking the dirt out from under her nails.
"No sorry, but I think he's with his brother, Rin and Gin?" The olive eyed girl suggested, and Seki huffed. She was feeling very impatient today, especially since Atsumu had been ignoring her all day.
"Great help, thanks." She said sarcastically and Suzume was taken aback. She had done nothing to the girl yet she was taken her irritation out on her.
"Excuse me?"
"Just shut the fuck up, you're not helping." Seki fought back.
"I haven't even done anything?" Suzume said with a brow raised. Its not like she had made it a personal job to keep track of Atsumu's whereabouts every second of every day. She wasn't his girlfriend.
"Yes, you have! You're stealing Atsumu away from me!" The girl accused.
"I'm not doing that. But you do realise he's not actually your boyfriend, right? He can hang out with who he wants and he can make his own choices-" Seki saw red and slapped Suzume before dumping her bottle of water on her.
