Chapter 1

A Good Day With a Hint of Prophecy

Today was surprisingly enough, turning out to be a good day. That was until the prophecy was told. Let me explain before that.

So hi! My name is Luna. Luna Mareleno, daughter of Zeus. Yes I know what you're thinking, how could you be alive luna?! The big three had sworn that they wouldn't have more children!

Well it turns out that my dad wanted to claim about the same time he had claimed my 'sister', I guess you could say, Thalia Grace, but then everyone would know that Zeus, the king of the gods, had three children, and not just 2. So he told me that I had been put into a deep sleep for about 2 years. Then, when he felt that it was safe for me to come back he guided me to Camp Jupiter. When I had arrived he had sent a message saying that I too was a child of the past, like Praetor Hazel and her brother, Nico di Angelo.

Only my really close friends like Cia, August and Praetor Frank and Hazel knew.

So today was the War Games. I really enjoyed them. We didn't really kill people obviously we just fought in teams.

As Cia and I were walking to the cafe, I spotted James, son of Pluto. No one, and I mean no one, knew how he had come. Was he a child of the past? Was he born after the pact? Only Hazel knew, since she was kind of his sister. He didn't really talk much, and he always wore black. My stomach felt like there were a hundred butterflies in it. For some reason, whenever I talk or see James, I feel like a thousand butterflies are in my stomach. It's really annoying. I saw Cia looking at me with a sly grin.

"What?!" I said.

"Nothing," she said, still grinning. Then she asked, "Do you like James?"

I quickly looked around to see if James had heard what Cia had said.When I saw that he wasn't around, I glared at Cia.

"Obviously not," I told her, "you know that I can never like anyone."

"Hmmm," she said, still grinning, "let's see."

The war games were awesome as usual. My team won easily. I only got a scratch or two. After the war games, we went to eat dinner. I loved the dinners at Camp Jupiter. We could eat literally whatever we wanted. But today at dinner we had a surprise. Today we were joined by Ella and Tyson. They were a harpy and a cyclops. They had a bookstore where Ella was trying to recreate the sibylline books which she had apparently memorised. Now Hazel was holding Ella's shoulders as she muttered random stuff.

"No- family is home- quest- cheese not good for harpy's"

Yeah she mutters a lot. But then she suddenly saw me, and started jumping up and down. Then she closed her eyes in concentration and said, 

"5 shall go west to receive what they need

They shall meet two who without would fail

One shall realise that family is home

And each shall return with sadness yet peace." 

she opened her eyes then said, "Yup cheese not good for harpys yup."

Hazel looked at me and gave me a silent message, meet me outside later.
