I become a raging killing machine

| Luna |

As soon as I caught the hilt of the sword, I felt a surge of energy. Not the kind I felt when I held James's hand, but a different kind of energy. It was like nothing could stop me and I felt powerful. And literally nothing could stop me. As soon as the evil guy saw that I had the sword he immediately got angry and charged at me with his own sword. He came charging upto me and the swords clashed. Out of the corner of my eye I could see the others battling other monsters or demigods.

Suddenly I saw that evil guy was fighting again. I flung him aside, using a trick that Hazel had taught me. I twisted the sword in his hand and he dropped it. I was about to come down on him when I heard a cry from behind me. I turned to see on August the ground, injured. Adrian and James were trying to shield him, fighting off the monsters who were coming closer. But I saw that they needed help. I felt a wave of anger. I kicked the evil guy on the ground and ran towards them. Just as the monster was about to come down on James, I jumped on it and stabbed it in its back. I jumped off as it disintegrated.

"Is he fine?" I asked James, my rage not yet gone.

"Yes, he just got knocked unconscious," James replied, staring at me.

"What?" I asked him.

"Nothing, it's just that you look like you're glowing," he said, still staring.

"What?!" I looked at myself. He was right. I had a light blue glow around me.

"It's the sword," Tristen said, coming up, "when it feels as if it has found the right person, the person gets extra strength."

He paused before saying, "Cia seems to have gotten something like that too. I think she has the blessing of Mars."

I looked over at Cia and saw that she was killing demons, left, right and centre. She had a red glow around her and she looked absolutely aggressive. Cia hardly ever looks aggressive but now she looked frightening.

"STOP!" I suddenly heard a voice scream. I looked around to see that 'evil guy' was holding a sword to Juliet's throat.

"Hand over the sword or I will kill her," he snarled. He had a cut on the side of his face, I guessed because of me. He didn't seem to be bluffing. I knew from the look on his face that he was very capable of pushing the knife in her throat.

I felt that rage well up in me again. I put on a calm face and said, "Didn't I already tell you not to mess with my friends?"

As soon as I got the last word out, fast as lightning, I summoned my spear. (sorry that was a weird pun but I was out of words), and threw it. Evil guy must have thought that I was throwing it at him, because he just ducked out of the way.

"I think you need to work on your aim," he said, the dagger touching Juliet's throat and making it bleed slightly.

"Really?" I asked him, "I think it's perfect." I pointed behind him.

There had been a cyclops standing right behind him, and as my spear hit it, the cyclops started disintegrating. There was a lot of monster dust that came right on top of the evil guy. As he loosened his grip on Juliette, I yelled to her, "RUN!".

As she went out of the way, I ran up to him, the sword in my hand. I could almost feel myself glowing. I pushed the guy down, his back against the floor. I pushed the sword to his throat.

"Don't you ever try threatening me with my friends," I growled at him, angrily, "my friends are not just my friends. They are my family. And if you or anyone else in this world tries threatening me with them, you will regret it instantly." I made a cut on his throat and it was bleeding. I was about to stab him when I heard something from behind. I turned around for a second and the evil guy took the chance. He pushed me off him. I rolled to my knees. He was at the museum door. Just before he went out he turned around, looking at me and said, "I knew you wouldn't be able to kill me. You act high and mighty. You act strong. But you're not. You are weak. I'll be back."

With that he disappeared out the door
