"Is it possible to quit?"
"Absolutely not," Hoseok shot him down. "Did you really call me to some random café to tell me that?"
"Yes," Taehyung angrily took a sip out of the hot chocolate he ordered. "I'm thinking of quitting."
To be honest, calling Hoseok here wasn't his original plan.
To be honest, again, Taehyung actually got lost. In Seattle. It was way bigger than he anticipated, and it didn't help that his English was mediocre. The worst part was that he didn't remember the address of their house, and there was no way he was going to tell Hoseok that Jeongguk and he left without their permission.
So, he lied and told Hoseok to meet him at a café somewhere in the city. Somewhere along the way, the frustration from today manifested into a big ugly storm in his chest that basically pelted Hoseok the second he sat down.
After a lengthy rant, cursing Jeon Jeongguk and his confusing attitude and even more confusing vagueness, he was a fuming mess. His emergency sunglasses were on and a scowl sat over his lips as he carefully sipped on a cup of warm hot chocolate meant to ease his sour mood.
But even so, its overwhelming sweetness did nothing to get rid of the bitterness staining his tongue.
"No," Hoseok shook his head, leaning back in his chair, his arms crossing over his chest while his leg draped over the other. "You don't want to quit at all. You're just being a big baby."
"A baby? You're calling me a baby?" He scoffed, pointing at himself. Hoseok nodded.
"Yeah, because the Taehyung I know doesn't quit that easily. You've worked with some sketchy actors before Tae. Remember the guy who was involved in that sex traffick ring?"
"Oh god," His nose quickly crinkled. He remembered that guy all too well. He wasn't a really pleasant person to work with on set even though he was a beloved man in the industry, but Taehyung had to suck it up for the variety game show they were filming.
"Yeah, what about him?" He grumbled, shrinking in his seat. Hoseok knew he had a point and flashed him a tired smile.
"You see, Jeongguk's probably the mildest actor I've ever seen in this entire industry," Hoseok said. "He's not a bad guy. Like, at all."
"But have you seen his attitude?" He argued, the skin between his brows creasing.
Why wasn't he backing him up? He always backed him up. Out of everyone he knew, he expected Hoseok to understand.
"He doesn't have an attitude, Tae," Hoseok shot back, unamused. Taehyung blinked a few times. Were they talking about the same Jeongguk?
"Can you please be open minded about this? I'm not gonna accept your crap."
"Well, then tell me why I should give him another chance," Taehyung grumbled. "He makes me so uncomfortable, hyung! He just stares and does things on a whim. He's inconsiderate and the things he says to me are so cryptic and mean. It's like he just doesn't care about how I feel!"
