When Yoongi finally came to Seattle, filming began.
Taehyung was used to the hectic schedules, the tight deadlines, and the strict orders. It was his job, and there wasn't any room for failure. The weeks ahead consisted of early morning meetings, even earlier shoots, and a ton of coffee to fight away the weary exhaustion building behind his eyes.
However, he wasn't so worried about passing out on set. That was the last thing on his mind.
Lately, he found himself watching Jeon Jeongguk more.
He wasn't under qualified. Hell, he was far from it. The moment they did their first practice read around the table with the entire cast, he was astounded by the talent Jeongguk hid from him this entire time. He wasn't expecting much from him in the first place, and yet Jeongguk was great. More than great.
He captured the essence of his character, and he could see why Yoongi casted him. Oh Hyunwon was the complete opposite of him with a bubbly attitude consisting of cheeky smiles and sarcastic jokes. He played his part well, effortlessly, even making him a flustered mess when they briefly went over those scenes.
Most of the time, the reason he kept an eye out on Jeongguk was their scheduling. There were a few meetings he took without him, and he assumed those were to sort out the few accommodations he needed.
Taehyung happened to be passing by when those meetings weren't over. Despite that, he would walk out mid-way, face unreadable.
But judging by how he shoved his trembling hands through his hair and his breathing was uneven, he had a feeling he was getting overwhelmed.
Jeongguk never noticed him during those moments, but Taehyung was told to not step in after a short conversation with Jeongguk the morning after his melt down. Even though Jeongguk assured him he could calm down on his own, it still hurt.
It still made his heart ache, and his stomach churn seeing Jeongguk so stressed and upset. Though it usually didn't happen often, there was nothing he could do about it except watch. It was a tough pill to swallow that he couldn't just reach out, but if Jeongguk said not to bother him, he respected it.
Besides those encounters, most of their interactions never lasted beyond filiming. Jeongguk didn't live at his house anymore, either. Everyone decided it was best for him to stay at his home.
Anyway, it made sense, seeing that right after, Jeongguk would directly go to his private trailer to probably calm himself down and rest. Penn or Hoseok would always alert Yoongi of his condition, and Yoongi would nod in understanding and request the crew to work on a different scene without him.
He didn't understand why he was noticing every single detail about Jeongguk all of a sudden. It wasn't at all necessary. They weren't shooting the romantic scenes yet, but he couldn't help but worry about him. If he was okay. If he was overwhelmed. Schedules like these were hard enough. He couldn't imagine how he dealt with them.
