Taehyung hated not being able to think

Taehyung hated not being able to think.

It was ironic, especially seeing that he feared his mind the most when it was at its peak. He hated how it warped things, twisting blatant scenarios until it was a imperfect grey, the splotches of black and white he encounters throughout day not quite blended properly.

Chaotic and frustrating. That was his mind for you.

He didn't particularly like it, but there wasn't much you could do when your thoughts ate you alive in the worst possible situations. Most of the time, he wished he could shut it out. But then there was the part of him where he needed to think.

In fact, if he couldn't put together a proper thought or take the time to deconstruct a scenario it would drive him completely and utterly insane.

Taehyung hated not being able to think, and Jeon Jeongguk was partially to blame.

Jeon Jeongguk was going to drive him completely and utterly insane.

There wasn't much time to take a breather when it came to being around Jeon Jeongguk. The chaos around their workplace didn't help the fact that his mind was a jumbled mess, fluctuating between his acting persona and a personality he wasn't able to define, uncover in such short notice.

Filming scenes like that weren't as enjoyable as you thought they were. Once the initial shock wore off, it wasn't too long until Taehyung remembered he was actually working.

It was tiring being on set all day with lights that were angled in his face for hours. Boom mics, cameras with red blinkers capturing his every move, and Yoongi's fierce yet precise corrections— there wasn't a chance to stop and just think. Sure, he was being felt up by Jeongguk over and over (there was no comment for that) until Yoongi decided it was right.

But none of it felt real after some time.

At the end of the day, they were just two actors, doing their job.

Or at least, that was what Taehyung tried to convince himself.

Seattle was cool out. The sky was already a deep indigo, speckled with stars Taehyung didn't usually see back home. He was appreciative, for he knew his time in Seattle wouldn't last forever. There would be a time he had to go home, to return to Seoul, but that was the last thing on his mind.

Taehyung was back in his trailer, scrambling to grab his belongings, ready to get back home and crash for the day. If anything, he wanted to sleep, forget about what happened today just for some sort of peace, clarity, despite everything that was happening.

He leaned against the side of his trailer, letting out a ragged sigh as his shoulders began to sag. He seriously needed a grip on his bearings. His entire idea of Jeon Jeongguk was scattered in his mind, and he wasn't sure how to piece it together. Not in a bad way of course.
