this is just a continuation for the last one :)

Leo's POV

Whoa, I knew Percy was a good looking, but he's a damn chick magnet! First day of school, and already a fawning, popular girl. I'd watched the whole thing unfold. That girl, what was her name? Yeah, Brookie, she made it soo obvious that she was trying to get his attention. Gods, Percy was dense, man! But anyway, I just sat back and watched like a drama movie. I knew Annabeth would come along and beat the schist out of that lady. And boy, she did just that. That girl scampered away like a rat!

Under different circumstances, I probably would've found this girl hot. But everything about her was too obnoxious. Too much makeup, didn't like her clothes, and her attitude; just plain annoying.

Oh, and the last part was the best. Paul, Percy's stepdad came in and gave Brookie the stink eye. He let Percy and Annabeth slip by, probably because he knew we were demigods? Or, maybe he knew about the whole Tartarus thing. Yeah, that's probably it.

'Okay, moving on, Hello, students, I'm Paul Blofis, and I'll be your English teacher this year. So, this semester, we'll be covering bla, bla...' Okay, no, he didn't really say that. I just stopped paying attention around then. I pulled out some copper wires and started tinkering with them. I made a mini, working helicopter, like the one I'd made with pipe cleaners in the Grand Canyon, before I got to know I was a demigod, and all the sad and crazy stuff in my life finally made a bit of sense. I launched the helicopter and it flew straight in the air, its blades twisting due to the air coming from the cooler. I hardly noticed everyone staring at it, until Mr. Blofis cleared his throat.

'Uh, you must be...' He pointed at me and squinted his eyes, like he was trying to remember my name. 'Leo. Uh, Leo, that is a lovely helicopter you've made, there is a mechanics club you could join for that, but uh, right now is English, so if you could kindly put that away and listen, that would be great.' He told me, but I was mostly paying attention to the "mechanics club" part.

'Uh, yeah, okay, but could you please tell me where I can sign up for this club?' I asked. In the corner of my eye, I saw Annabeth, she had a straight face, but through her eyes you could see she would probably be shaking her head right now. Percy was just trying not to laugh.

Mr. Blofis paused, and said,

'You can sign up in the library, you would have a class where you pick an extra curricular subject you'd like to do.'

'Okay, thanks.'

I watched the way my helicopter moved, and waited for it to turn back to me, close enough so I could catch it. It cut through the wind and when it passed the air cooler, it turned. As it passed me, I reached my hand out and caught it.

'Really, Leo?' Annabeth whispered. 'You could've gotten detention.'

'Nah, it's okay. He let me off the hook, he let you off the hook.'

'Alright, class, today we'll be starting with the story Julius Caesar from Shakespeare.' Mr. Blofis announced. 'Is anybody familiar with it?'

Only Annabeth's hand shot up, and then she looked around with slight confusion, like, Wait, no one's read it? Sheesh.

'Okay, Annabeth, could you please give us a brief description?'

'Julius Caesar was one of Shakespeare's tragic plays, about jealous conspirators convincing Caesar's friend Brutus to join their assassination plot against Caesar. To stop Caesar from gaining too much power.' Annabeth explained.

'Very good. So, we'll be reading the play now, and analyzing it. Everyone, please get out your Shakespeare books.' Mr. Blofis told us. I dug around my backpack until I found a fat book with the word "Shakespeare" on it. Basically, we had to silently read each page, and then ask questions if needed. We continued that until the end of the class, and then, finally, we had a tiny five-minute break to go to our next class.
