Chapter 10

Caitlin's pov:

I woke up to screaming next to me. Barry was having a nightmare.

"No, no, no." He started screaming.

"Barry wake up." I tried to wake him up but to no avail.

"Iris why are you doing this?" He asked in his sleep.

"Barry Iris isn't here." I said shaking him. He shot up in a cold sweat and started crying in my arms.

"Hey, hey it's ok I am here for you." I told him as he looked up at me.

"Thank you Frost and you too Cait." He told us as he pulled us into a kiss. We then fell back asleep in each others arms.

The next day

Barry's pov:

I woke up to Caitlin besides me and got a text message from Joe telling me to get to CCPD asap. So I used my speed to get up without waking her and make breakfast. After that I showered and changed. I then left Cait a note telling her that there is breakfast in the fridge and then sped to CCPD. Once there Joe explained how backed up I was on cases so I went up to my lab. I used my speed to work through my cases. Halfway through my cases I got a text from Cisco telling me to check the news. There was a video message that was being broadcasted calling out Caitlin and I. I sped to the location and waited a few second for Killer Frost to arrive. We stood next to each other as Blaze came out from the shadows and a blur of white lightning sped next to her.

"Savitar?" I asked.

"Yes and no." He replied.

"Your from another earth aren't you?" I asked him.

"Yes and I am the fastest man alive." He said and sped off. I started to follow but he quickly intercepted me. He started throwing me around the city like a ragdoll. He pinned me against a wall and stabbed me in the shoulder with one of his blades and it broke off. He then continued to throw me around the city like a ragdoll. We ended up back in the place we started and I could see Iris on the floor beaten.

"HOW DARE YOU." He yelled.

Frost's pov:

Barry ran after this Savitar doppelgänger and I was left with Iris standing in front of me. Iris started to shoot blasts of fire at me but I was able dodge them. She then did something that I didn't know she could do she made daggers out of fire. We were locked in an intense battle when she slipped up and I blasted her with ice. She was on the ground bruised but minorly injured when this new Savitar arrived while holding Barry by his neck.

"HOW DARE YOU." He yelled looking down at Iris. He started vibrating his hand and I thought he was going to charge at me but he didn't. He held up Barry who had a metal spike in his shoulder and phased his hand into his back crushing his spine. He then shoved his hand through his chest making Barry's body go limp and lifeless as he dropped it to the ground. He then sped Iris back to their base as I started running towards Barry.

"Barry." I said.

"BARRY." I started yelling. Once I got to his side I let caity take control and a breach opened next to us. Cisco jumped through grabbed Barry and jumped back through with Caity following closely behind him.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM?" Cisco yelled.

"Well..." Caity started explaining everything as Joe entered the room so Caity filled him in as well. While I was just worrying for Barry in Caity's mind.
