Worrying about the results won't get him anywhere, the worst thing that could happen is attending the general course which is not a bad choice too, but if that happened, all of his effort and the words he had spoken would be useless. Just like a dog that only barks bullshit.
"You did fine, stop worrying, and if you didn't enter the hero course we can just threate-negotiate with them!" Sensei was back to his usual form, walking on the wall, then he descended off the high place. Taking the familiar road that leads to the river bank.
"We can't really threaten them, you know,"
Izuku followed behind the cat that was jumping after the butterfly, "When did I ever say threaten them, how rude!" the cat puffed his cheeks. Izuku gave him the are-you-kidding-me look, but then dropped the subject, maybe a little bit of threatening would do them good. Izuku liked to think of himself as a peaceful person, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
"OYA-CCHAAAAN, WE ARE HEEEEEERE!" Sensei voice resonated in the empty riverbank. The owner ducked his head under the banner of his little stand, and his round eyes crinkled with happiness, "You are early today, sensei!"
"G'Afternoon, oya-san," Izuku sighed as he sat on the stool, Sensei was long gone from his side, he was busy looking at the menu, which was a useless thing to do since at the end he would choose udon and some crackers at the side.
Izuku smacked his forehead, today he didn't prepare the fish. "Ah, oya-san I forgot about the fish and I kind of promised Sensei that I'll treat him to some udon," "2 BOWLS" "you heard him, so can I just help around the stand, I'll do anything, cleaning, cooking and serving; just name it!"
The bald man grinned, and pushed him back in his seat, "Have a seat, you look really out of it, where has my favorite smile gone?!"
Izuku smiled weakly, "Ahh, I bombed the exam today, so I'm a bit worried."
The owner was preparing the ingredients and unloading the bowls and cutleries, "Today, I went for the U.A entrance exams, and let's say that it went in an unexpected direction."
The owner hummed in answer, "I'm sure you did fine,"
"I hope so," Izuku scratched his neck, feeling unsure about the shit he had done. "You still btching about it!!" Sensei was fed up with Izuku's whining, and he made sure that he showed it.
"And why are being so mean about it, sensei. It is my dream to enter the hero course!"
"Ugggh, big deal!"
The owner's hand stopped moving, he looked up fast with an amazed look on his face, "You registered for the hero course?!"
Izuku nodded his head, "It was my dream since childhood to be hero!" he hesitantly looked up at the owner, green clashed with black orbs, the words at the tip of his tongue, he should really stop asking this question, why couldn't he learn from his mistakes, but he shot it away "D-Do you think that I can be a hero?"
Sensei stopped his whining, focusing on the cook, face devoid from any emotions. The owner squeezed his eyes shut, finger on his chin; musing out loud. Then, he broke out a grin, "Sure, why not?"
Izuku took the response as huge shock, which is an understatement, he was blown away, there was a person that was not family who said that he can achieve his long-term goal. They didn't make fun of him, and he knew that he was not well off and weak.
"Uhh... Why would you... support me?"
Oya-san crossed his arm, "And why wouldn't I support you?"
