The red eyes continued to stare as the last rays of the setting sun disappeared behind a mountain and out stepped the owner of the eyes, a handsome man wearing strange clothing that was similar to theirs but...different. He gave a cold, hungry smile as he continued to stare at each one of them in turn.

When his eyes landed on Mileena his smile disappeared and an angry yet panicked look crossed his beautiful features and he began to growl.

"VAMPIERS ATTACK!" He shouted with a strange accent that nobody had ever heard before. His "vampiers" ,as he called them, jumped out from the surrounding "deserted" tepees and sprang into action.

Pretty soon the band of warriors had their hands full with fighting the vampires while Manak ran to fight the man with the glowing red eyes.

The man was a good fighter especially since he kept pinning Manak to the ground but Manak wasn't to bad himself and Mileena constantly looked over to see if he was ok while she handled her own set of vampires, killing as many as she could.

"Mileena!" Yelled Manak, "get into the tepee and see if anybody's there."

Mileena finished off the woman she was fighting and obeyed Manak. As she went into the tepee she switched on hernight vision and and looked around in shock

All around the tepee was the Myaka tribe tied up and their mouths gagged  while in a corner a pile of  fresh corpses lay.

So that was that horrid smell. Thought Mileena as she remembered the smell before the red eyes appeared.

The tribe started moaning and shakibg their heads but Mileena thought they were struggling to get free, what she didn't realise was that they were trying to warn her.

Out of nowhere a pair of hands grabbed her from behind. She struggled and squirmed until she managed to break thw grip of the other person and she came face to face with a vampire.

They immediately started fighting and Mileena's claws extended, helping her fight the blood sucking demon until she finally managed to kill him.

She immediately began to free the captives.

Just as she was cutting the last person free she heard a horrific cry of pain that sounded vaguely like Manak and Mileena felt her blood go cold and she rushed outside to see what happened.
