Mileena's eyes snapped open and felt the excited yet anxious energy buzzing from outside.
The tribe is more active then usual she thought and that's when she remembered the meeting last night and their journey today.
Mileena immediately jumped up and started preparing. Once ready she left her tepee and was shocked at how busy the camp was with the women packing food and water and the men untethering the horses and stocking up weapons.
Just then her mother and one of her cousins arrived and ushered Mileena back into her tepee.
"Mama, what are you doing?" Asked a confused Mileena.
"Well after what that vile monster did to you we need to make sure he didn't leave his mark on you." Her mother replied firmly.
"What mark?!" Asked Mileena getting a bit annoyed now until her calm cousin finally stated matter of factly, "She means she is checking whether you're pregnant or not."
"Pregnant?" Mileena whispered as the blood drained from her face.
"Yes, pregnant, now drink this pregnancy tea and the dregs will confirm whether you are with child or not." Said her mother.
Mileena relunctantly drank the tea and handed the bowl to her mother and watched as her mother's face paled at the results.
"Oh no" she whispered and looked to Mileena with tears in her eyes.
"Your pregnant!" Her mother confirmed but before Mileena could react her father burst into her tepee.
"Oh good your ready, quickly have breakfast we leave in an hour." and with that her father exited, judging by how he entered and left, the pregnancy part hadn't reached his powerful alpha ears...yet.
"We will deal with this matter later, we have a bigger battle to prepare for" said Mileena, quickly exiting the tepee with nothing on her mind besides the fact that she was pregnant and that to with that villan Dracula's child.
Just as she thought things couldn't get any worse, she ran into Manak who broke out in a smile at the sight of her.
Mileena couldn't face him especially now that she found out what had become of her so she turned around and walked in the opposite direction with a look of anguish on her face, she wasn't hungry anyway so it would be fine if she missed breakfast.
"Have i done something wrong?" Asked Manak sprinting to keep up with her.
"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" Mileena snapped as she headed into the forest and suddenly broke out in tears and crumbled to the ground until she was quickly embraced in Manak's big, strong arms and she just let herself go.
After a few minutes of crying she finally began to calm down and told Manak the painful situation she was in and asked him what she should do.
"Quite frankly i don't know, if it were me i would destroy it, do you really want to bring a child of that demon into this world?"
Mileena shook her head.
"Then we shall find a way to get rid of it but we can only do this after the battle, okay?"
"Okay."
"Good, now we should get going we have a battle to fight and don't worry, we will rid you of this shame that has befallen you."
They left to join the others in final preparation for the journey, mileena's face leaving no hint of her breakdown just a few minutes ago.
