Mileena ran as fast and as far as she could to put as much distance between herself and the camp.
A sudden pain made her fall to the ground as her nerves were set on fire. It's happening she thought as she tried to run some more but the pain was too overwhelming so she bent down on her knees and struggled through the transformation and let out a shrill cry of pain.
Where has she gotten to thought Manak to himself when suddenly he heard a howl of pain right ahead of him. He ran as fast as he could and stumbled upon Mileena, gasping for breath and agonising pain etched on her face.
"WHAT ARRRRGGHH YOU DOING HERE" she shouted, her voice coming out as a growl. "GET ARRRGGWAY FROM ME" she snarled. "No i have come to help you" replied Manak in what he hoped was a soothing voice.
Mileena lifted her face and met his eyes. Manak backed away instantly for Mileena's eyes were now a golden glow, her teeth extended to fangs and her elongated furry ears poked through her hair. He looked to her hands and saw claws, fur had grown along her arms and legs and her feet became paws right in front of his eyes and yet she was still morphing into a full fledged wolf.
Fear made Manak break out into a cold sweat as the wolf before him licked its lips in hunger. He knew that if he ran he would be hunted down and killed but he couldn't stay there as she would pounce on him and kill him anyway. So he slowly backed away speaking to the wolf in soothing voices.
Just then the moon appeared from behind a cloud and Mileena the wolf turned her gaze towards it and let out a strong, loud howl that resonated throughout the land. Her howl was answered by others and without giving Manak a second look she bounded away, following the sound of her father's alpha howl where a night of hunting with the pack ensued.
