chapter 15: werewolves vs vampires part 2

The battle raged on from the afternoon to the early hours of dusk. The smell of blood strong in the air and dead bodies continued to pile up everywhere.

The smell of blood was pure torture for Manak who had to fight both an inner battle for blood and outer battle for his life but he knew that one drop upon his lips will be fatal. If he survived this battle, he would have to face Mileena's father and he would rather be with him then against him.

As the last rays of the sun finally sank Dracula let out a long, cruel laugh "Now you shall see the real strength and power of the vampires, you are in my domain now" he said with a cruel smile playing on his lips.

The werewolves strength was beginning to wear down only adrenaline kept them fighting, well more defending then fighting, but still they held strong as the vampires brought the fight out into the moonlight but it was a fatal mistake as the feel of the moonlight caressed the werewolves they began to regenerate right before the vampires eyes "Now who is in whose domain Dracula perhaps you forgot that we werewolves draw our power from the moon no matter what phase it is in" said the alpha with a triumphant smile.

"IMPOSSIBLE!!!" Replied Dracula his face a flury of emotions ranging from anger to surprise to disbelief.

"Oh but it is possible and now you shall DIE!" And with that alpha and all lunged toward Dracula as one and Manak watched in amazement as the pack began to tear Dracula apart limb from limb.

Blood and body parts flew in all directions as the pack finished off the leader of all evil and when they dispersed all was left was an unrecognisible lump on the ground his heart realised Manak as he watched it give its final beat before it too had died.

The werewolves were not finished however and they all turned towards the remaining vampires now cowering in terror as they broke out into a run. Half the pack chased after them whilst the others stayed back and watched with satisfaction as the vampires were brought down one by one.

The wolves morphed back into their human forms and mileena limped towards Manak.

"We did it." She said weakly.

"Yes, we did," he replied with a smile that Mileena returned and the suddenly she fainted....
