We took aunt Freya to the abandoned building on the school property, she said "Pretty. In a creepy, "don't get caught alone here at night" kind of way." Hope said "The Saltzman twins found it, like, two years ago. Pretty sure it's their evil "Mean Girl" lair." I said "Hey don't talk bad about my friends, I don't trash talk your friends... Oh, wait you don't have any." Hope glared at me and Freya said "Hey Em be nice to your sister. All right. You want to find your mom, I got to start with how she was taken in the first place." Hope said "I already told you, I don't know. Someone followed me." Freya said "Or there was a problem with your cloaking spell. Maybe you missed a step... left a loophole open." Hope said, "No, of course, I didn't." I said, "Right because you're perfect." Freya said "Ok Ember, get out. Im not having you two fight all day. So leave." I rolled my eyes and left to find my friends again.

A while later Hope grabbed the back of my shirt and pulled me along with her, my friends stared at us and I shrugged. We went to the library and I said "And hello to you Hope." Hope said, "This is serious Em." I said "Ok whats wrong?" she said, "Freya just said the witches of New Orleans are scared of us." I said "Scared? Why?" she sighed "Im a firstborn Mikaelson Witch and I'm powerful, you are a Mikaelson witch who operates good spells using darkness as a power booster, making you stronger than me. Put us together and we could torch the whole world." I said "Great, can we use all this world-destroying power to find mom?" she said, "I think so we just have to figure out how." Roman came in and said "Is it just me, or is this room starting to get a reputation? Henry jumped, and you two look like you might." Hope said "We had kind of a day." he said "Your mom?" I said "No sign of her. And according to our aunt, all of the witches in New Orleans think that we're gonna melt the city if she doesn't come home."

Roman said "You can do that?" she said "Probably. I don't know. I think we're just tired of everyone being so scared of us." Roman said, "That's understandable." I said "Now's the part that you're supposed to say that you're not." he said "Oh, I'm terrified. But I'm kind of a risk-taker." Freya came in and he said, "That's my cue." Freya said "A private audience with the boy who sweats diamonds. Nice." Hope said, "I'm sorry... for exploding like that." Freya said "No. You shouldn't be. Look, neither of you asked for any of this. You didn't start it." Hope said "But we're the end of it. Right? One way or another? So what do we do now?" we went back to the condemned property and Freya said "Okay, let's see what you can do." we demonstrated and Hope said "Okay. Pretty cool, huh? What do you think?" Freya said, "I think I wish I had core muscles like yours."

Hope said, "And that's nothing compared to what I'll be able to do once I trigger my werewolf side like Em did." Freya said "Yeah. Um... Has your mom ever talked you both through turning?" Hope said "A little. And I-I have friends. I mean, the whole killing a human part sounds kind of rough, but..." Freya said "What about the whole breaking every bone in your body part? You know, when your mom talked to me about it, when she, um, really described it, it sounded worse than almost anything I could imagine. And, honestly, it's... it's not what she wanted for you girls." I said, "She hasn't explained much, but she is gonna help me through it on the next full moon." Hope said "Wants. Not what she wants for us." Freya said, "That's what I meant."

We went about the day, Hope hung out in the room and I was with my friends, I had fallen and Kaleb caught me pulling me into his lap as Lizzie yelled at the poor soul who ran into me. Dad appeared and said, "Ember where the hell is your sister?" I jumped up from Kaleb's lap and said "Uh... our room maybe?" he said, "No she is not there." I said "Then with Freya." he said "Show me." as we rushed to the condemned property I said, "What did she do this time?" He said, "She is gonna bind her werewolf side to save your mother." Freya said, "Marcel told you."

I said, "Im your twin, how come I wasn't involved in this?" Hope said, "Because your my sister, and this could kill me, I didn't want you hurt and besides you already triggered the curse." Klaus said "He didn't have to. A thousand years of family has taught me to expect betrayal from those I hold most dear. Bind her? Really? How many times have you heard me rail against the shame our parents gave me?" Freya said "How many times have you heard my cry, devastated over having lived my life without my mother? You have to go, Klaus. You can't stay here with Hope and Emberlyn." he said "Hope, listen to me. This ends... now. Neither you nor your sister is to bind yourselves for any reason." Hope groaned "Let's go Em." I followed her back to the school building and after dinner, I and my friends were still at the table doing homework. Hope called me so I answered.

H- Hey Em, so don't get mad but I'm not at school.

E- Then where the hell are you Hope?

H-I am with Roman, he is taking me to bind my werewolf side.

E- Are you out of your mind? Aunt Freya said you'd regret it, dad forbade it, and mom will be pissed.

H-If I don't survive just know, I love you, Emmy.

E- Damn it Hope Andrea Mikaelson! I love you too but you are so stupid sometimes. 

I hung up the phone and said "I have to go talk to Mr. Saltzman, I'll catch you all later." Kaleb hugged me and said, "Want me to come?" I said "Sure." we went to Ric's office and I knocked on the door. He said "Come in." we walked in and saw Ric and Caroline in the office, I said, "Sorry to interrupt but Hope just called me, a few hours ago dad stopped her from binding her werewolf side to save mom, and she has run off with Roman to do just that." Caroline said, "I'll call Klaus, Ric get the advanced tracking class to try and find her." I said, "Wait, I want to go with you and dad." Caroline said, "No, you are only 15 we can handle it." I said "Im not asking, she is my sister, and is trying to save my mom. Let me come with you or ill find my own way to her." she sighed "Fine, Kaleb I assume you want to come too?" he said "Yeah, I do." she said, "Fine get in the car."
