Vincent said "Uh, Kol, if you would, right there. Uh, Rebekah, perfect. Right there." Bekah said "What the hell are you doing here? You come to gloat?" Marcel said, "No, I came to make sure that this works." Klaus and Elijah approached and Vincent said "Elijah, I need you right there at the top. Klaus, right there for me, please. And we are ready. I just want to say that what you guys are doing here today is gonna go a long way towards setting things right in this city. The Hollow took everything away from me. It inspired nothing but suffering and torment. It's ruined families, it's gone after little kids. And yet, here and now, despite all of our differences, and there are many... thank you. Freya." Bekah said "Always and forever. We had a good run." Elijah said "Yeah." Klaus said, "Wait Ember too?" Vincent said "Yes Ember too, the hollow wants Hope's body, but it also wants Emberlyn as a partner and she is not strong enough to deny the darkness. Diviser... Diviser ak konkeri. I immediately started to fuss with her and Freya said: "Hayley she is fine, the hollow had a hold of the darkness in her, which is a part of her so when we pulled it out, it hurt a little bit but she will be ok."
Bekah said, "I can hear it... whispering." Vincent said "Okay, you guys need to go. Now!" Kol and Bekah left, Elijah gave me one last look before leaving. Klaus said, "I need to know if they're all right." Vincent said "Klaus, I promise you, they are going to be okay if you go." the girls woke up and I said "It's okay, babies. You're okay." I held them close Hope said "Mom." Ember said "Daddy? What's happening?" they stared at their father, Klaus said "Hope. Ember. I love you." then he left, the girls tried to follow him but I held them tight as Hope was screaming "Dad? Dad! Dad!" and Ember was screaming "Daddy! No! Daddy come back! Daddy!" hearing them call for him and knowing he will never see them again broke my heart for my little girls.
Freya came back as the girls calmed down, she had two necklaces. She knelt in front of the twins and said " Your aunt Rebekah asked me to give you this. She loves you both so much. Family heirlooms are very important. They remind us where we come from, and that no matter where we go, our family is with us. I love you." Hope and Ember said, "I love you, too, aunt Freya." Freya and I put the necklaces on the girls and said "You ready?" Hope said, "Yeah, yeah."
I took them to the Salvatore boarding school for the young and gifted that Caroline and Ric set up for their daughters. Hope immediately ran off to talk to some kids, Ember, however, though following her sister didn't speak to anyone. Ric said, "Looks like she's fitting right in, Ember not so much, is she always this shy?" I said "Hope's adaptable. And honestly, I think this is what she's always wanted. A normal life, friends her own age. Ember is terrified a few years ago she used magic with Hope and accidentally hurt her. She swore off magic until recently and then the hollow took advantage of her. She blames herself for Hope being used, for my neck being snapped, for her dad, aunt, and uncles not able to be around anymore. She feels what she calls the darkness and she thinks no matter how much good she tries to do that the bad will always follow."
Ric said "Uh that's a little deep for a 7-year-old. But, the kids here are pretty great. You know, they're accepting, eager to learn. You know, we just try to keep up. Teach them discipline, compassion, ethics." I said "Magical potions, spell casting, broomstick riding." he chuckled "Yeah, well, there is some of that. I've just spent a lot of time with supernatural people who were never comfortable in who they were. These kids... these kids will do better." Ember started to speak to someone and I said "Who are they?" he looked over and said, "That is uh, Jed, he is a werewolf and has been here for 2 months and in that time has refused to talk to anyone. The girls and my twin daughters the blonde is Lizzie, and the brunette is Josie." I said, "He looks so little, he's already triggered his curse?" He said "Yeah, he and his sister got in a fight and she hit her head too hard and died due to brain injuries. He still blames himself for it."
I nodded "Well the girls seem good, so I'm gonna say goodbye to them and get back to New Orleans to help Freya." he nodded and I walked up to the girls Hope hugged me and said "Mom this is Sarah and Stephanie." and Ember said, "And this is Josie, Lizzie, and Jed." I said "That's great girls, you will have fun here at school, I came to say goodbye, I have to go help aunt Freya, but I will see you for school breaks and your birthday." they said "Ok bye mommy." I hugged them tight and kissed their heads before I left, leaving my babies in mystic falls.
