"Holy shit," you laughed, "oh my...Peter!"
You were atop a very high building and clinging desperately to Peter.
"I'm not gonna drop you, just—here, hold onto this."
You grabbed onto the railing and Peter stood behind you, letting his hands sit gently on your waist.
"I wanted to do this in Paris," he said softly, resting his head on your shoulder. "But some really annoying monsters had other plans, obviously."
You chuckled and he moved his arms so that they were wrapped around you in a hug.
"Do what?" You smiled.
"Enjoy the view with you."
"I like this view too," you smiled again, reaching your hands up to touch Peter's arms. "It's home."
"Yeah," he smiled. "Yeah."
"Thank you for giving me a second chance," you said quietly, gently stroking your thumb against his wrist.
He chuckled and turned you around to face him swiftly.
A silent gasp of surprise turned into a smile, prompting Peter to emulate it.
"Nobody can stay mad at you, y/n, especially not me."
"Really?" you questioned, unable to stop grinning.
"Really," he whispered before kissing you, moving his hands around you so the railing wasn't poking into your back.
Your fingers combed through his hair eagerly and he hummed in satisfaction.
He pulled away from your lips after some time and moved down to your jaw, pressing soft and slow kisses to it.
"Alright, let's not give New York a show," you laughed, gently pressing his shoulder away from you.
"Sorry, sorry," he apologized. "Got carried away."
"I know, I'm just so beautiful and irresistible," you shrugged.
"I know you're being sarcastic, but..." he started to say as he fidgeted with his hands, "you really are beautiful. A-and smart, and kind, and funny..." he blushed. "I love you, and I really mean that."
"I could say it a thousand times and never truly comprehend how lucky I am to have you, Peter. I love you too."
"Come here," he sighed softly.
You wrapped your arms around him and he held onto you tightly, peppering your temple with quick kisses.
Your stomach flipped as he touched you in the slow and gentle way he always did, and he could tell how it was affecting you.
"Do you want to stay with me tonight?" you asked, praying that he would say yes.
"What if May finds out?"
"You've done it before," you pleaded, pulling away to look him in the eyes. He couldn't say no now.
"Okay, okay, I'll stay," he laughed, and you kissed him. "There's one more spot I want to take you, if you'll go?"
"Take me away," you giggled, holding your arms open and closing your eyes.
He pulled his mask over his head and jumped off of the edge of the building, holding you flush against him.
"It's kind of far!" He shouted over the wind.
"Well I hope your web shooters are full!"
He smiled and switched directions, coming so close to one of the buildings that you could see the reflection of your hair whipping over your head.
