You couldn't use your watch now, there were too many people watching. It would be suspicious, and you didn't need anymore attention drawn to you.

Security and customs seemed to drag on forever, but eventually you were on the plane and you could finally contact Peter.

"Karen?" you whispered. Sam looked at you and smiled amusedly. "I need to send a message to Peter Benjamin Parker."

"What message would you like to send?"

"Peter, it's me y/n. Listen, our trip moved to London, and I don't know if Fury or Beck had something to do with it. We won't be going home just yet," you sighed. "Send something back when you can."

Sam had tried not to listen to respect your privacy, but it was difficult when you were sitting right next to her.

"It's on the 'explain later' list," you grimaced.

She nodded and looked across the isle at MJ and Brad, who had been flirting since they'd boarded the plane.

You put in one earbud and played some music to calm you down, but nothing compared to Peter's company.

Peter had just arrived in Berlin when Karen alerted him of an incoming message.

He played it in full as he walked across the train station. Everyone was staring at him; he was in his suit after all.

He relaxed at the sound of your voice next to him, even if it was just a recording.

His relaxation was cut short as he heard you say the trip had been moved to London. Mysterio definitely was onto the both of you, and now you were in danger and he had no way of warning the others.

She can hold her own, she can hold her own...

She survived a snap from the most powerful weapon in the universe, she can deal with a fraud—

Peter's thoughts came to a halt as Nick Fury drove up next to him, stopping him dead in his tracks.

Fury rolled the window down. "I see you decided to come."

Peter frantically climbed into the car, his heart racing already.

"Listen Mr. Fury, Mysterio is not who we think he is—"

"Shut up."

"What—"

"Someone might be listening. Wait until we get back to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters."

Peter waited patiently until the two of them had entered the facility and made their way to a secure room.

Agent Hill was waiting by a large table when they entered, her arms crossed as she waited for an explanation.

"Mr. Fury, may I?"

"Go ahead."

"Mysterio is a fraud. Look," he said, producing the projector to the both of them. "It's all an illusion. He's been using these projector things and drones, I think, to create the elementals—"

"Who else knows about this, Peter?"

"Only y/n, and maybe—" Something suddenly felt off to Peter. Not enough that it was his Spidey-Sense, just an uneasy intuition.
