You talked to Sam for a bit until she started to doze off, and realizing that you were one of the only people still awake, you decided to sleep too.

At some point. you woke up to people shifting around you. The seatbelt lights were off, and people were using the time to stretch their legs.

You tried to fall back asleep, but as you began to close your eyes you saw a tan figure coming towards you.

You sighed and opened your eyes to Flash Thompson hovering next to you.

"Wake up, sleepyhead, we're almost there."

"Then why isn't the light on?" you asked.

"It's been on for a while now. People are just going back to their seats."

You nodded, pursing your lips. "Then why don't you go sit down and quit bothering me."

"Wooooooow," he said, holding up his hands. "I see how it is."

You rolled your eyes and turned to Sam for help, but she was still sound asleep. Flash smirked and walked back to his seat.

You sighed and laid your head against the seat. You closed your eyes again until a loud, booming voice came over the PA system.

"Attention passengers, we are preparing for landing. Please buckle your seat belts and put your trays up."

You turned towards the isle and closed your eyes again, still trying to get whatever rest you could.

You heard one of the flight attendants coming down the isles to check for belts and trays, so you opened your eyes right to Flash staring at you. When you made eye contact he laughed, and annoyed, you turned towards Sam to sleep.

You felt the plane tilt forward and eventually land. The lights came on and people grabbed their bags left and right.

You waited until the isle was mostly clear to grab Sam's bag and then yours.

When you exited the plane, the group was waiting off to the side. Only a few people were still missing.

After the group was completely together, you all left the airport and headed on boat straight into the heart of Venice.

It was so beautiful. Everywhere you looked there were people bustling around, flowers, old buildings...it was breathtaking.

You began taking pictures of everything. You and Sam were on the side of the small boat and kept switching  places so you could take pictures together and of each other.

The tour guide began talking about the historical features of the place. The architecture, the statues, the water. You looked over at the plants you could make out in the water. It was muddy, but it was still beautiful.

"Dolphins used to be very common in the canals, but they are much rarer now. With all the boats it's hard for them to get around," said the tour guide.

You looked over at Peter. You just had to. It was impossible not to glance at him occasionally.

He was looking at the water as well, laughing and pointing at something for Ned to look at.

You turned back towards the water and dipped your hand into it as the boat made small waves.

Things were so simple here. You could just lay on the boat and face the moving waves forever.

The boat came to a sudden stop and the guide anchored it to a nearby post.

"Alright, everyone off. It's time to get your rooms. Everyone's already got a settled partner, but if there are any issues, come to me," said Mr. Harrington.
