You woke up to Sam's high pitched alarm. Groaning, you got up and got ready.
You grabbed a light coat from your bag in case it got a little chillier later and headed downstairs.
There was some cereal, muffins, bagels and fruit on the table. A few students were already helping themselves to breakfast, so you decided to join in.
You and Sam sat down at a two person table and munched on your breakfast slowly.
Eventually, Mr. Dell gathered everyone up and the group headed outside for a full day of Italy.
You couldn't help but look for Peter, and you spotted him already outside.
He kept looking around like he was paranoid about something. You figured he was still ignoring Fury's calls, whatever they were about.
You had called your mom the night before and she was still doing fine. Tony was still stable, and they were trying to figure out what was entirely wrong, as the blood clot hadn't been the only thing.
You and Sam got in the boat together and soon it was moving. Everything around you was beautiful. Everything was so rustic and real. It was breathtaking.
The boat came to a stop about twenty minutes later.
The tour guide parked the boat and everyone climbed out.
"Alright, so our plans are taking a bit of a detour today. Everyone is getting two hours of free time to explore on your own. We meet back here in 2 hours, but it's best to arrive about ten minutes early. Don't be cutting it close," said the guide.
"Have fun everyone and be careful! Don't go anywhere alone and stay in groups," said Mr. Dell.
You, Sam, Betty, Ned, Peter, and MJ all started walking together. After visiting a few shops and looking around, the group slowly split.
You and Sam went down an alleyway by yourselves and turned into a backdoor shop.
A young boy with a tall frame opened the door for you. With accented English, he welcomed you both in.
He was cute, there was no denying it. You and Sam laughed as you looked around the small shop.
"I told you there would be cute European boys," Sam half-whispered, half-laughed.
You rolled your eyes. "And I told you I didn't want any."
She smiled. "You don't even know him, maybe he's super sweet."
"He doesn't even live in my country! That's way too long to even consider long distance. That's like...extremely long distance."
Sam cut her eyes at you and laughed. "You need to get over Peter. Or make amends. But I'm not letting you pass up good opportunities so I need to know which way you're gonna go."
You fiddled with a few snow globes on the shelf. "I don't know yet. I mean, assuming Peter even wants to make amends."
"Girl! He's even more in love with you than when you were together! I can see it on his face. It's the perfect place for a midnight impromptu makeup kiss."
"It's also a great vacation to enjoy without having to worry about boys. So let's drop it for now, okay?"
"Okay," Sam sighed. "I just want to see you happy, I don't mean to upset you."
"I'm not upset, I'd just rather spend my time messing around with you."
"Awh..." Sam laughed. "I think I'm going to get this necklace, what do you think?"
