Picture of Zoey^
(Trinity's POV)
"Hey! Its about time you got here!" Zoey yelled at me while giving me a hug. She then released me a few moments later.
I looked down at my phone and looked at the time. It was 8:47AM. "What are you talking about? I got here earlier than I said I would.'' I pointed out.
''So you should have gotten here earlier.'' She scolded narrowing her eyes at me.
''Oh hush! You want to go get ice cream or not?''
''Yeah! Come on lets go!'' She said walking off quickly in the direction of town.
"Wait up!" I half jogged up to her. I looked around to see the trees we passed as we walked towards town. I loved living in the woods. There aren't many people who live out here, which i'm very happy about.
My mom wanted to move into the town, but I talked her out of it. I really didn't want to live in the town where a lot of people live. I liked it in the woods more isolated. I could also go on a run in the woods whenever I want. All I need to do is walk out my back door and start moving. I also liked how you could run in a straight line for miles in the woods and never run out of trees. It was like they never ended, so if I ever wanted to get away from people or my house I just go a few miles or so in the woods so no one can find me.
I sighed just thinking about running through the trees. It was a relaxing time when I went out there.
When we finally made it to the town, we were only walking for about ten minutes before we heard someone shout Zoey's name.
"Hey Zoey! Nice to see you hanging with your loser of a friend!" We heard a familiar voice while others started giggling. We turned around to see the girls that always picks on Zoey. I looked over at Zoey when she looked at me with a smile. I didn't get why she smiled when I could see the hurt look in her eyes.
"Come on Trinity lets go." She said while tugging on my arm.
"Alright." I didn't really care what people said about me, but Zoey did. "Don't let them bother you Zo." I looked at her with a frown.
"Yeah I know, but they called you a loser. Why don't you ever get mad? I mean they've done much worse than just calling you a name." She looked at me with worry.
"Oh please! Why should I get mad? Their probably just troubled or messed up in the head. I'm sticking with the latter..." I bumped her on the shoulder giving her a big smile to show her I wasn't mad or sad about what that girl said.
She was telling the truth when she said they've done worse. I mean they trip me at school, paint crap on my locker, and sometimes when their feeling up to it they'll start a fight. I don't exactly fight back because i'm scared I might break their skull. I've punch a tree in half before when I got mad... Luckily I was by myself in the woods.
"Alright." She looked down and I saw her slightly laugh. We walked for another half hour before Zoey's face perked up.
"Oh look the ice cream place!" I looked up and Zoey pointed at the shop with a huge ice cream cone on the roof.
Zoey quickly started to run with a smile pulling me along with her. We got to the door and I opened it for Zoey to go in. We sat down at a table in the corner of the shop and looked on the menu. It had all kinds of different types of ice cream on it.
"Pick anything you want. My treat!" I said to a mesmerized Zoey.
"Thank you!" She looked really happy.
"I know just how much you like ice cream, so you're welcome." I said laughing. Ice cream is like her favorite thing in the world.
She nodded as a lady came up to our table. "What would you young lady's like to order?" She asked with a smile.
"I would just like a vanilla cone please." I looked over at Zoey who took a quick look at the menu and spoke up to the lady asking for a hot fudge sunday.
"Right away!" The waitress quickly turned around and headed for the kitchen.
We talked for a few minutes waiting on our ice cream when someone walked up behind Zoey. I didn't think about it until she spoke up and I noticed who it was. I muttered to myself annoyed.
"Hey losers your sitting in our seat! Get up and move." I bet you can guess who it is. When I looked up and saw The girl grab Zoey by the hair I got mad. Zoey looked at me and saw my eyes change to red. She was the only one who could tell what I was feeling when she looked into my eyes. The look of worry crossed her face when she saw me stand up.
"Is your name on this table?" I asked gesturing to the table. I looked on the sides and surface of the table and found nothing. "Nope." I said popping the 'p' as I spoke. "That means this is not your table and you can't make us move. Now don't go and start thinking if you write your name on this table it'll be yours because all I have to do is scratch it out and tada!" I said throwing my arms up as if celebrating.
"Do you know who you are talking to? I am the pr-" I cut her off.
"Yea yea you're the principles daughter and can get me in trouble with only a few words. Whatever. Go ahead. You've done it before and it didn't affect me in anyway." I said making her flinch. However, she cleared her face like I didn't faze her one bit.
"What are you going to do then? Hit me? You don't have the guts. Plus I know your parents wouldn't agree with you just hitting someone out of no where. Especially someone who was just minding their own business." She said with an innocent tone and face. However, when she brought up my 'parents', I started moving without realizing it. I stood up and got face to face with Ashlee. She clearly flinched and stepped back.
"You should really watch what you say to people you don't know. I've had enough listening to your shit. I've also had enough of you bullying Zoey! Haven't you had enough already? It's been like three years! Get it through your thick skull that you are not better than everyone else around you. You being the principles daughter also does not give you the right to bully those who are, in reality, better than you!" I said every word laced with poison.
When the waitress came over with out ice cream she looked at us and immediately started scolding us.
"Lady's please do not fight in the shop."I smiled and looked at the waitress. She flinched not expecting me to smile and took a step back. I looked at Zoey who was already holding our ice cream. I grabbed her wrist and walked out of the ice cream shop.
"Sorry wont happen again miss!" I shouted as we left.
I looked over at Zoey when I saw she was looking at me trying so hard not laugh. Then soon enough she couldn't take it anymore and busted out laughing. I started to laugh along with her. We walked back home eating our ice cream. The it hit me.
"Ummmm Zoey, by any chance did you pay for the ice cream?" I asked a little wide eyed.
"Yea I did. When you got up and the waitress came over with our ice cream, I knew that you would forget. I gave her the money when she came over."
"Oh sorry for making you pay. I'll pay you back." I pulled my wallet out and began to get some money out.
"No no no its fine." She looked at me. "I wasn't going to let you pay in the first place anyway." She laughed.
"Oh wow." I laughed. We got to her house and we both split ways. I watched her slip into her house and started walking to mine.
