Chapter 16: Stolen Memories

(Trinity's POV)

I've been thinking about what Tyler said for a while now and its bugging me. I mean what does he mean by i look different? We have been walking for about 5 days and right now we are taking a break. Well here's my chance to ask him what he meant.

"Hey Tyler!" I yelled at Tyler while walking up to him. He was leaning on a tree and was taking a nap.

"Huh.. What do you want?" He asked rubbing his eyes.

"What did you mean when we first met. You said i looked different. What did that mean?" Tyler's eyes went wide. Then as fast as the grew wide they went back to normal.

"What are you talking about?" Tyler looked confused.

"You said when you pushed me against a tree that i looked different and someone would only say that to someone if they have met before."

"But i didn't say that you looked different."

"Yes you did. I know you said that. Stop pretending you didn't say that. Now what do you mean tell me or ill will beat it out of you!"

"Okay fine!.... You really don't remember?" Tyler looked down.

"Remember what?" What is he talking about?

"When we were really little, about 7, i use to visit you all the time because i use to live in the other world, but when i turned 10 my mom and dad sent me to this world and just dropped me off and left me in the forest." Tyler said while looking back up to me.

"I don't remember that..." I really don't.

"Really? Nothing?"

''I don't remember you at all." I really, really don't remember him...

he walked around in a circle for a minutes before he stopped and grabbed something out of his pocket. He put his hand in front of me in a fist.

"Here take this." Tyler said.

I put my hand under his and he opened his hand allowing a necklace to fall in my hand. I looked at the necklace and it was kind pretty it was a silver chain with a silver heart on it with a cross in the middle. Then it hit me. I had this necklace when i was little. So if this was mine then why does he have it?

"I remember this necklace. I remember having this when i was little so how come you have it?"

"Because like i said before, i use to visit you all the time and before i left you gave this to me."

"Oh... Well how come i don't remember you?

"I don't know it might have something to do with when someone kidnapped y-" Tyler put his hand over his mouth like he said something he shouldn't have said.

"What do you mean someone kidnapped me. I don't remember being kidnapped."

"Ummm well..." He seemed hesitant.

"Tell me. You already brought it u so spill."

"Fine.. Well a few days after i left i got new from a friend from this world who traveled between worlds. He told me that you were taken. They thought it was just a regular kidnapping, but we came to find out a witch took you. The only thing she did though was erase apart of memories that included me and your powers. She wasn't successful when trying to erase your powers though because they still occurred and when they did your memories came back. Your mom thought that she tried to erase your powers completely, but was unsuccessful. The only thing you couldn't remember was be kidnapped and.... me." Well i guess that makes since on how i don't remember any of that. Plus i don't think he is lieing either.

"I believe you. Just why didn't you come back if you heard about all this. If you were my friend like you said you were, why didn't you come back?"

"I wanted to and i even tried to, but my parents didn't want me coming back to that world or to them. They loved me, but they still sent me away. I guess it was for the better anyhow. Here in this world i found out how to live on my own. Well i kinda need to learn to live on my own, i was ten haha. Anyhow i lived in the forest because everywhere i went people hated me. I learned to protect myself from others in the forest." I forgot something..

"You mentioned you had a sister. Where is she. You haven't talked bout her besides that one time." Tyler looked down and back up to me with a big sigh.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

"No its fine. My sister was killed when she was 13. She was sent here with me when i was ten. She was killed by demons. We were walking one day and out of no where demons surrounded us. They tried to kill me as well, but instead i blacked out and when i awoke they were all dead along with my sister."

"Oh I'm so sorry i shouldn't have asked." I feel so bad for him. I wish i could do something about his sister, but sadly i cant.

"Its alright. There's no need for you to apologize. Its not your fault she was killed." He smiled. I still felt bad though.

"Hey we need to keep moving were almost there.... i think." Zack called out at us. I looked to find Zoey and seen she was leaned up against a tree sleeping. I went to go wake her up so we can leave. I get to her shake her shoulder and she doesn't wake up. Man i forget how hard it is to wake her up sometimes haha. I pick her up and toss her up into the air and catch her again. When she lands in my arms her eyes shot open and yells.

"What the heck Trinity??!?!? Are you trying to give me a heart attack!!!!!!??" I laugh and put her down on her feet.

"No you wouldn't wake up though. We need to get going and you wouldn't budge." I was still laughing. Zoey walks past me and shoves me with her shoulder.

"Well then stop laughing and lets get going." She didn't look happy haha it was still funny though.

"Sorry next time you don't wake up ill just let Zack wake you up then."

"No no no no no no no that will not be necessary. Geez! Trinity just start walking!" I knew she wouldn't like that.

"Yeah yeah I'm coming." I said and we start walking toward the castle again. We still have a few hours till we get there though.
