(Trinity's POV)
"How far is this cabin anyhow?!" I yelled up to Scarlet.
"Its about a days walk. That's if we don't stop for even a second though." Scarlet responded without looking back at me. Zoey was walking beside me and Zack was in front of me. Rose was in the front with Scarlet.
This is great though! In order to get there in a day we cant even stop for a break. I'm fine with walking long distances in long periods of time, but Zoey cant.
"Hey ill be fine. No need to worry about me. It may be a long walk but I can do it. However, I will be taking a long long nap when we get there." She said smiling.
"Yeah I know, but you don't have the best stamina." I said laughing a little.
"Oh shush!" She said bumping into me. I laughed and looked back in front of me.
I wonder if we will run into any demons on the way there. I wonder if there's a book about demons and half demons in that cabin. Haha I don't think so. Wait didn't Zoey say a while back that her mother handed down a lot of stuff to her. I wonder if she has anything like that. Even if she did why would she have it with her. Eh wont hurt to ask.
"Hey Zo, I was wondering do you remember if your mother past down any books about demons and half demons?" She looked up at me confused and then her expression changed telling me she understood why I was asking.
"Actually yeah there was one book all about demons and half demons." I looked down wishing that I could get my hands on that book.
"I'm sorry. I wish I could just magically make it appear, but I don't think I can do that." She laughed.
"I know haha. Maybe when we get back home we can do some research." I smiled.
(Zoey's POV)
I could see the sadness and confusion that filled her eyes. She looked down at the ground and continued to walk in silence.
I really wish that I could get that book. 'Gosh darn it I need that book!' I screamed in my head. I then felt my hands burning up. My vision went wild and then I was standing before my mom again.
"Mom!? Whats going on why can I see you?"
"Your mind is struggling."
"How is my mind struggling?"
"Your magic is trying to surface, but is having a hard time doing so. You are ready to receive your magic, but its like apart of you doesn't want it. You have to completely want and have to have a strong will to cast magic."
"How can I even do magic if I don't know any spells?"
"Your my daughter and I am a very powerful witch. I was born were I didn't have to speak any spells. All I needed to do was want and demand my magic to do what I wanted it to do. You have the same talent. You just have to demand what you want and your magic will do it."
"Is that how I threw Tyler without even knowing what I was doing?"
"Yes you were mad and your magic sensed it. Your magic only did what you wanted it to do."
"Cool. So why are you in my mind?"
"I'm here to help you. When you are in need of help or questions that you need answering I will be here to help you. Of course there will be most things that you will need to find out on your own. You need some struggles. Where's the fun in getting all the answers? Well I have to go. Remember all you need to do is want and demand you magic." As soon as she said the last bit she faded away and I was back to the forest siting down with Trinity looking at me concerned. I felt something in my hand and I was holding a book. I looked at the books cover and it was the book I wanted for Trinity. The one about demons and half demons!
"Zoey are you okay?" Trinity said.
"Yeah I was just talking with mom." I said smiling. She looked at me for a few seconds.
"Okaaayy.. Your defiantly going to be explaining some things later on for me. Right now what are you holding. you weren't holding that a few seconds ago."
"Believe it or not, but its that book you want. You know the one about demons and half demons." I seen Trinity flinch and I knew she was trying hard not to grab it right out of my hands. I laughed and handed the book to her. "Here you wanted it after all." She looked up at me and smiled widely.
"Thank you so much! Your awesome!" She gave me a huge hug and took the book from me.
"Thanks your awesome to. Well you better start reading we got a long walk." She nodded and we both started walking again while Trinity was nose deep in that book. She really likes books I wonder how she's going to like a book all about demons and half demons knowing she's a half demon herself. I laughed slightly.
I began thinking about what my mom had said. That I needed to want and demand my magic and it would do what I wanted it to do. I guess since I really wanted that book for Trinity my magic got it for me. Coolieo. Hehe.
I looked up at the night sky. The sky was lite up by an infinite amount of stars and a bright full moon that lite up are path. Heck without the moon we would be walking in total darkness. I picked up a small stick that I seen in front of me. I observed the stick and tested something. As if my magic knew what I wanted it transformed the small stick into a staff used for a weapon. It even had two sharp curved points at the top. Trinity looked over at me and laughed.
"Looks like you got that down now." I smiled and twirled it through my fingers. Trinity went back to reading the book while I stepped away from Trinity a little and was twirling it really fast switching hands just as fast listening to it cutting through the wind.
