Chapter 35: Jealous Zack

(Trinity's POV)

I was just standing there with an army on their knees. I would have never guess this would ever happen in a million years. I watched as Jay and the rest of his army got back on their feet. Jay walked over to me and led me back inside the castle. He wrapped his arm around me and I discarded his arm shoving it off me. He looked at me shocked, but I didn't stop to explain I just kept walking wanting to get inside and out of the center of attention. Once we were all inside and the doors were closed Zoey ran up to me squealing and hugged me.

"That was so cool!" Zoey shouted.

"Indeed that was pretty awesome." Jay said smiling at me. I smiled back and looked over at Scarlet.

"I couldn't of done it without you." I said.

"Well it was nothing really." Scarlet said laughing a bit.

"So what shall we do now?" Rose asked.

"I know we should re decorate our rooms. The rooms are really dull." Zoey said.

"We already were planning on it. These women right here will help with that." Jay said pointing to three groups of women. "Each group will be doing one of your rooms just tell them what you want and they will do what they can. They are witches so they can do pretty much anything you want." Jay said and we all told them what we wanted are room to look like. Me and Zoey just agreed to make it look like my room from back home so it would feel more comfortable sleeping there, which we've been sleeping outside and stuff so I think I would be fine with anything but I didn't argue.

"Now I think it would be nice if I could show yall around the village, and maybe yall could buy a few things if yall would like." Jay said.

"Sure why not." I said. I gave some money to everyone and tied the rest back on my side. We all followed Jay back out a different exit and into the village.

"You may want to put your hood on seeing that you are the queen now and some would crowd you or maybe try to kill you." Jay said. I put my hood on not wanting to be center of attention again.

"Were going to go check some different places out that way." Rose said pointing the opposite direction we were going. We looked at them a little confused.

"What we have been here before and no our way around. Oh and no way are we telling yall how we weren't noticed and killed before. So bye bye." Scarlet said before grabbing Rose and heading off the other direction.

(Zack's POV)

Trinity was walking beside Zoey and Jay beside Trinity. Zoey seen something at a shop she wanted to check out so we stopped and let Zoey check whatever it was out. I was standing a few feet behind Trinity and Jay when I seen Jay look behind him at me and smirked. He looked back and walked to a store. He picked something up and bought it. He walked over to Trinity and showed her a necklace with a black stone with specks of silver in it.

"May I? It would look stunning on you." He said and Trinity just nodded. He stepped behind her while Trinity was facing me. He removed her hood when no one was looking and put the necklace around her neck. When he did he bent down and whispered in her ear.

"I was right, stunning. You look stunning." He whispered and stood straight up again. Trinity's face was red and she quickly put her hood back on covering her face. He stood a foot taller than Trinity smirking at me. That's it I had it I don't like this guy. I walked up to him and grabbed his shirt by the collar dragged him away from Trinity and Zoey's sight. I held him up off the ground and slammed his body into a lamp post. He only smirked at me more.

"I know what your doing and I don't want you anywhere near Trinity!" I shouted at him.

"I'm her guard and I have to be with her wherever she goes so nothing happens to her. I have no choice to be near her." He laughed.

"I can protect her without you, so stop flirting with Trinity and stay away from her!" I yelled.

"Why do I have to? She's beautiful and if I'm not mistaken she is not taken. So do you have a reason I should stop?" He said.

"Because I-I. Because your way older than she is and that would be weird." I stopped yelling and starting lying and I know it. Why cant I say it?!

"Lame excuse. Anything else?" He said.

"Nope." I said. He smirked.

"I thought so." His smirk that I hated so much vanished when I pulled him off the post and picked him up higher. I threw him into a shop causing people to start circling around waiting for a fight, which I knew was coming as he stood up and brushed himself off.

He then looked at me smiling at my emotionless expression. He started to run at me and I got ready when he brought out two swords. I pulled my dagger out of my boot and dodged the first blow. I kicked him in the back and made him stumble a little before he back kicked me in the stomach. He shoved his sword in my shoulder and out the back and into the ground. I couldn't move and when he was standing over me one foot on each side I took my free hand with the dagger and slashed though his which made him smirk and when he fell his knee landed on my stomach. He then had his other sword to my neck.

"I will be her king not you." He whispered to me. I was about to jump up with the sword in my shoulder or not when I heard foot steps approaching at inhuman speed. Before I knew it Trinity was standing beside my head. She looked down at me and then Jay.

"Would you like to explain this to me." Trinity took her hood off and had a very scary expression on her face. I swear I could even see a hint of fear in Jay's eyes. I heard gasps and whispers from the crowd around us. They were all about Trinity of course.

"I was just standing beside you and right after I gave you that necklace he dragged be away and starting attacking me, so all I did was defend myself." Jay said.

"Wha-" I began before Trinity cut me off with her hand. I looked up to her with my mouth open. Is she seriously going to believe that?!

She look over at Jay and kneeled down in front of him. Jay look down at me as I could see him smirking in his eyes. I want to kill him so bad!!

Trinity then shocked me by what she did. Unexpectedly she pulled back her fist and within a second she punched Jay in the face so hard he flew through three lamp post.

"What was that for!?" He said before he looked up and seen her face. It scared me to death and she wasn't even looking at me. "I'm sorry my queen." He said while looking down at the ground.

"Zack would never start a fight unless he got really mad, so what did you do that got to him so badly?" She said. Seconds later she waved her hands in front of her. "You know what Jay just go back and we're going to spend the rest of the day like we always do, by ourselves with no guards." She said. Jay looked up to protest but shut his mouth as soon as he opened it. He got up on his feet and walked off.

"Ok now Zack..." She said making me jump. She walked over to me and grabbed the sword in my shoulder. She yanked it out so fast my vision went black for a second. I grabbed my shoulder it now able to heal now that the sword was removed. This made me remember that yesterday Trinity got stabbed in her side.

"Hey how is your side?" I asked her. She looked down at me and smiled.

"Perfectly fine." she said lifting her shirt revealing no wound anywhere.

"Glad to know. Anyhow what you wanna do first?" I asked. Pretending that the fight didn't just happen. People were walking off and a few stayed because of Trinity.

"I will want to talk about that fight later. You know that right? I'm curious on what made you so mad." She turned around and started walking away and then stopped as soon as she started. "Oh yeah I almost forgot." She stopped and reached behind her neck and she took off the necklace and threw it on the ground beside her. She looked back at me smiling. "Yeah I don't like it with my cross necklace." She laughed and that made me so freaking happy she didn't keep that thing.
