Chapter 7: Trust

(Zack's POV)

A strong wide came out of no where and blew Trinity's hood off. I was about to laugh, but before i couls even smile i noticed what was on her head. I seen what she was trying so despretaly to hide, cat ears. Another gust of wind blew up her hoodie and revealed a tail. She was stareing at me wide eyed while i strared at her the same way.

"You.. yo-" I was cut off by Trinity yelling at me.

"YEA I KNOW!! IM A FREAK!! WHY DONT YOU RUN OFF AND TELL EVERYONE NOW!!! TELL THEM ALL MY SECRET!" She yelled at me.

"I won't tell anyone! I swear i won't!" I tryed to tell her, but i dont think she really cared.

"WHATEVER!!" She screamed at me and ran through the door and down the stairs.

Man i didnt even give her her necklace back. Thats what i called her up here for in the firs place.

I ran after her and seen her run out the front door. Less than a second behind her i ran out the door only to find a black cat running away. Is that her??? It has to be. I ran after the black cat, but it was faster than me. Thats lame! How can a cat out run me, and a girl at that.

I have been running after her for who knows how long until we got to a house. I was about a bit behind her. She shifted back to her human form and ran to the front door with her cat ears and tail still showing. Within seconds a girl came out of the door and seen Trinity in her state and seen me running toward them. She was the same girl i heard Trinity call Zoey. Zoey quicky looked away from me and pulled Trinity in the house. I finally got to the front door and knocked, but only came to find Zoey peaking her head out the door.

"What do you want?!" The sweet and harmless looking Zoey yelled at me. It kinda scared me at how harmless she looked and how harmful her tone was.

"I just want to talk to Trinity. Please just let me talk to her." I asked Zoey.

"Well she dont want to talk to you. Now forget everything you saw and go away!"

"Please." I asked once more hoping she would allow me to talk to her.

Zoey pulled her head back in the door. I could her talking in the house.

(Trinity's POV)I watched Zoey come back in the house.

"SO?? Is he gone yet?" I asked hoping he left.

"Ummm no. He really wants to talk to you. He seems concered. He might be a good guy why dont you give him a chance." Zoey told me.

"What are you talking about. If i trust him for just a second he will take that to his adavantage and tell everyone my secret!

"No i won't!! I promise i will not tell a soul. Please trust me." I heard Zack call from outsde the door.

"Why should i trust you?? I dont even know you!!" I yelled back at him.

"Can i at leasy give you something. Im sure you would like it back." He said not yelling anymore.

"Alright!" Zoey said without even asking if i cared or not. I just stared as he walked inside the house besdie Zoey.

He then got in front of me. My ears still havent went away, so i covered my ears with my tail wrapped around my stomach. He bend down in front of me and held out his hand. In his hand was my silver cross necklace. I took it from him swiftly. I stared at him and then tried to put it on. I had a hard time trying to get on.

"Do you need some help?" Zack said while walking behind me and went to help me with my necklace.

"NO!" I yelled at him before he could touch the chain. "Zoey can you help me?" I walked over to Zoey.

"Sure." I pulled off my hood and let Zoey put it on. When she was done i put my hood back on so Zack couldnt look at my ears any longer.

"Please you dont have to hide them from me. You actually look cute with cat ears and a tail." He really was starting to get on my nerves.

"Yea Trinity you do look cute with kitty ears." Zoey said and giggled. Zoey pulled my hood off and petted my head.

"Wha! Your taking his side!" I was stareing at Zoey who was still petting me, but i wasnt complaining it felt good.

"He seems like a nice guy. I dont think he will tel anyon. Why dont we give him a chance? Bbesides its not like we can erase his memory."

"We could just hit his head with something really hard untill he forgets." I stared at him with nothing but hate in showing across my face.

"Now Trinity thats not like you to do something so mean." Zoey tolded me while holding one of cat ears pulling at it slightly.

"Hey you know my ears are sensitive! Knock it off!"

"Yea a cats ears are sensitive, just like a lot of other animals." Zack said out of no where. I could tell he was trying not to laugh at the sight of Zoey and me.

"Would you just leave already!" I said more as a statment than a question.

I was ready to tear his head off of his shoulders. I noticed he was stareing at my ears again and i ulled my hood on.

"Trinity really you dont have to hide the fact that you have cat ears and a tail, and i know that the blue stripe in your hair isnt dye, also i know that you being who you are is also why your eyes change colors."

"Shut up!!!" I yelled at him.

"And right now your mad. I can tell because your eyes are glowing red."

''SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!!!!!" I wanted him to stop talking.

"Look ill give you a reason to trust me. Its because i know what your going through being different from everyone else."

"You have no idea what im going through and you never will!!." He was making me madder by the second. Then everything went silent. I shut up, Zoey shut up, Zack shut up. Then I grew wide eyed as i saw Zack transform in front of my eyes.
