Chapter 26: The cabin

(Trinity's POV)

I was on my knees staring at the now closed book on the ground in front of me. I cant believe the words that I read. This girl in that persons vision was me, but it says I lose control after I lose my friends. What is going to happen to my friends! Wait if I have learned anything the future can be changed. We have done it before. Zoey had a vision about Tyler taking her while me and Zack confronted him. That never happened, so that only proves we can change the future. I was snapped out of my thoughts my Zoey yelling at me.

"Hey Trinity snap out of it!" I looked up and Zoey was on her knees beside me. Zack was looking at me concerned while Scarlet and Rose were standing in front of me looking down at me confused.

"What was that all about?" Zack said kneeling down in front of me.

"Nothing." I cant let them know what that person said. They will freak out.

"That was something now what was it?" Scarlet said.

"It was nothing so leave it alone!" I said a little too loud than I wanted.

"Look well leave it alone, but if there's something you want to talk about I'm always here for you." Zoey said. Her voice was filled with concern and sadness. I don't need her feeling concerned for me.

"Don't worry Zo. Lets get moving again. Remember we cant have many breaks if we want to get to that cabin."

"Trinity." Zoey laughed. "You were so into that book you didn't realize that we are just a few yards from the cabin. Look you can see it from here." Zoey pointed. I looked to where she was pointing and there was a little cabin. Well then...

We all got up and starting walking to the cabin. I looked up to the sky and it was already maybe 2PM. How did I not notice it was daylight?

We walked in the cabin and it looked nice. It looks like someone lives here and keeps up with it everyday.

"A bed!" I heard Zoey yell from a room. "Trinity I found our room haha" I walked in the room Zoey picked out and took my sword off my back and set it beside the bed. I took my shoes and hoodie off. It was nice not wearing shoes. my feet hurt. I need to wash my hoodie and heck all of my clothes need washing. Ummm how am I going to wash them? If I wash all my clothes wont that leave me.... I'm not gonna think about it right now!

"Hey believe it or not but there's a working shower!!!" I heard Zoey yell even louder than before. I jumped up and ran to where she was. Surely there was a working shower!

"Oh thank goodness!" I let out a sigh of relief.

"Hey do you want to take a shower first Trinity? While your in the shower ill wash your clothes. As long as you do the same for me." Zoey smiled. I ran up to her and gave her a huge hug.

"You care the bestest friend ever!"

"I know now take a shower you stink." She said holding her noes.

"Well I cant say your any better." I said laughing. Zoey walked out.

After a few minutes in the shower I heard Zoey come in and get my clothes. It sure will be nice to feel clean after so long. I think we have been in this world and away from home for about a month now. If I'm correct today is umm the 12th of October. I think.

Wait how is Zoey going to wash and dry my clothes by time I get out of the shower? Right after this thought crossed my mind I heard Zoey walk in.

"Your clothes are now clean."

"Are they dry?" I asked.

"Of course they are silly. Oh and I cleaned my own clothes."

"How!?"

"Magic. I got this magic thing down!" I heard Zoey laugh and walk back out.

I got out of the shower and put on my t-shirt and jeans. I'm guessing my hoodie is on the bed and clean hopefully.

I walked out of the bathroom with Rose looking at me. I stopped and she just starred at me up and down.

"Wait right here!" She said before darting off. A few minutes later she came back and handed me some clothes.

"Now turn around and go change into these." Before I could utter a word she turned me around and pushed me into the shower room. I looked at the clothes she gave me and the felt comfortable. I put them on and they were extremely comfortable. The shirt was a button up and was a tanish color. The jeans looked like blue jeans, but where made out of a different fabric.

I walked out of the room and came back to Rose staring at me.

"Much better for sleepwear." She said walking away.

Then I seen Zoey darting toward me with some clothes in her hand. I guess Rose gave her some clothes to. She passed right by me heading for the shower room. Haha guess someone was in desperate need of a shower.

I went to the main room of the cabin where there was a fireplace. I sat in one of the chairs in front of the fireplace.

"Here's a brush." Scarlet said handing me a brush.

"Thanks." I brushed through my hair while talking to Scarlet. "So does someone live her or something? I mean this place is filled with clothes and is so clean that someone would have to live here."

"Well last time we were here, which wasn't a long time ago, we killed the demon who lived here."

"Oh."

"Yea.." Scarlet then got up out of the other chair and walked off. I looked around the cabin and realized the ceiling had a pretty pattern to it. There was a book shelf filled with tons of books.

"Hey Trinity look I found some scissors." I heard Zoey from behind me.

"Ummm ok what's so cool about scissors?"

"Your hair.. Just look at it." She held up a hand mirror up to my face. My bangs are in my eyes and in all my hair has grown a lot. I agree it needs to be cut. I noticed my hair seemed to change its color a little. It seems darker. My eyes as usual are green and blue and my blue strip in my hair stands out amongst my dark hair.

"Ok then I shall cut your hair, and by the way I'm going to cut your bands in a different style than they are now. You know instead of cutting them straight across."

"Ok fine with me do whatever you want with it."

After what felt like forever Zoey finished cutting my hair and she wouldn't let me see until it dried. So after a hour or two my hair was finally dry. I looked in the hand mirror, and my hair actually looked better with bangs like this. Nice!
