Bolt: Jealousy

While Penny was dressing in the outfit that Bolt had chosen for her, the dog was lying by the door leading to her room being a little angry that he was going to Lucas. He didn't want to see him, it hurt him that Penny was paying more and more attention to him, but from another point of view thanks to the fact that he was going with them he could watch their actions, and if something was going to happen he could prevent them from doing it. A few minutes later, the white door moved, Bolt got up from the floor moving away from it. A girl dressed in a neat red shirt stepped forward in the door frame.

"So Bolt, let's go what?" asked Penny closing the door behind her going downstairs.

"I have no other choice" thought Dog as he followed his mistress downstairs. By this time Mittens AND Rhino were lying on the sofa watching them both. When Penny was already going outside to the car Mittens stopped Bolt with a cry.

"Hm? What's up Mittens?" the dog turned around hearing the call to him.

"Don't do anything stupid," said Mittens delicately, but with an air of seriousness.

"Yeah... Sure..." confirmed after a short moment of hesitation Lightning nodding his head slowly in the affirmative. A moment later he left the house and the door was closed.

"Do you think he'll mess up?" asked Rhino when they were alone. Mittens did not answer immediately. She sighed loudly and pumped about something while looking out the window. A red car was driving away from under the garage.

"We have to count on Bolt to understand..." Mittens sighed.

"Ok Bolt, here we are" informed Penny when they stopped in front of a rather large house that was white and grey with a modern fence around it. It was made of white concrete posts, and black decorated railings and gates. Next to the house was a large garden with all kinds of flowers, bushes and fruit trees. The composition of colourful flowers made it a really nice sight for the eye and for the nose, because the flowers gave off a pleasant scent. At the entrance, Lucas was already waiting, and you could see that he was a bit nervous, his hands folded into different positions until the boy noticed his guests.

"Hi Penny!" chuckled the boy immediately when he saw the girl from a distance.

"Hello Lucas" replied the girl standing beside him. Lightning almost immediately began to stare at Lucas with eyes that a serial killer would not disdain.

"Can I pet him?" asked Lucas, to which Penny nodded affirmatively. Although Bolt didn't want the boy to put his hand on him he agreed, so as not to do any spite for Penny.

"Can't he have his dog and stroke it? I'm Penny's dog not his" thought the dog as Lucas moved his hand over the top of Bolt's head with an uncertain touch.

"'You look beautiful... Please, welcome inside" Lucas said opening the door wide to the inside of the house.

"haha, thank you" replied Penny with a slight giggle stepping inside.

"'You look beautiful... What a licker" thought Bolt as he entered the boy's flat. Bolt quickly managed to grasp that Lucas definitely did not come from a very poor family. The very hallway that led to the rest of the flat was very richly decorated, and all the pictures on the walls were painted on canvas. Further out from the hall, there was a junction - to the left was the living room, which had three coupled sofas, a large TV and a glass bench, while to the right was the large kitchen, which was connected to the dining room.

"Have a seat, don't be shy," invited Lucas into the living room, where something like a buffet table had been prepared.

As Penny and Lucas talked about various topics, Bolt picked up on some of the boy's comments so he could tease him in his thoughts. He honestly didn't care very much what they were talking about, he was just there to keep Lucas and Penny from getting too close. Currently, nothing was happening in which Bolt had to react. Although on the other hand he felt pushed away, not wanted. No one paid any attention to him, he just lay there and absorbed himself in his thoughts.

"Bolt looks depressed somehow," Lucas said at one point, seeing how the dog had been staring blankly at one point for a couple of minutes.

"Well... I think I know why" thought Penny, then she accosted Bolt. He sent a slight smile for her, which quickly disappeared when he shifted his gaze to Lucas.

"Forgive him, he doesn't know you AND this environment... He'll get more comfortable here in time," Penny said excusing her dog.

"In time? This is my first and only time where I'm here" thought Bolt.

"I see, nothing's wrong. How about we watch a movie?" suggested Lucas.

"Sure, great idea!" nodded Penny enthusiastically.

"What a hopeless idea..." thought Bolt as he assessed the film Lucas and Penny were watching. Together they decided to watch the classic that had captured and still captures the hearts of many people - Titanic. It was quite dark outside due to the clouds, it was raining, so it was the perfect mood to watch some romantic movie. Due to the fact that Penny and Lucas lay down next to each other (which Bolt didn't like) he himself had to lie next to them on the floor and sigh at the movie they were watching. Although in the dog it didn't arouse any emotions the film did in Penny quite strongly, as she soon began to sob quietly. "Why is she crying?" thought Bolt getting up from the ground and walking over to Penny, stroking her head next to her hand which caused Penny to laugh which was mixed with tears.

"It's all right Bolt, I'm not sad" communicated Penny stroking Bolt who upon hearing this news laid down on the ground again.

"Does he... I mean Bolt knows when you need..."

"He's a very smart friend, he knows when he needs warmth from another person" replied Penny.

"That's why you don't need anyone else from me..." thought Bolt. He started looking around for a bathroom. Although he didn't drink too much, he had to go to the toilet to do his chores. He got up from the ground again to then approach his lady, who was still sobbing. He gave a voice to get her attention, then bent his head down.

"Where is the bathroom?" asked Penny.

"Straight ahead and then to the left" informed Lucas pointing to the corridor that was next to the TV. Bolt obeyed the command, slowly walking towards his destination.

"Wait a minute...A dog knows how to use the bathroom?" thought Lucas in surprise. At first he wanted to ask Penny about it, but he didn't want to ruin this romantic moment. He wanted to take advantage of the fact that Bolt had left them and they were alone...

"Why are we still here? We should be doing something the two of us, or with Rhino and Mittens. Just a waste of time... Yeah... At least for me" pondered Bolt while taking care of his needs. Thanks to his training with the people from the film crew, he had learned to use the human toilet and while it might look strange or funny, really Bolt didn't have much trouble with it.

"From the very beginning of our stay here, I feel on the side... I'm relegated, it's like I'm not here...Just let it go, at least nothing is happening" thought Bolt once he had finished urinating. He drained the water, then opened the bathroom door. He stepped out of it, and to his eyes was a sight that nailed him completely.
