We reached the Academy. I borrowed some stuff from Allison. I went to check in on all the others. "Hey Klausy, how are you doing," I asked softly. "Not doing very well," said Klaus, his voice hoarse. "You wanna talk about it," I asked, sitting down next to him on the bed. He told me the whole story about how he ended up in a war, and fell in love, and lost his love before coming back here. "Oh go, Klausy, I am so sorry you had to go through that," I said, rubbing his shoulder. "Thanks for letting me vent, mini Vanya," said Klaus, tousling my hair. "No problem, Klausy... You should probably go to bed, it's getting late," I said, getting up and switching off the light. "Night Klausy," I said before closing the door. "Hey Buck," I said, walking into Diego's room. "Hey doll," said Diego, smiling at me. "Just came to say good night," I said, smiling at him. "Goodnight, doll," said Diego. "Night, Buck," I said before closing the door. "Night Allie," I said to Allison, and she nodded back, deep in thought about something. "Night Virgin Boy," I said to him. "Night, nightmare child," said Luther. I went to Five's room, cuddled up into the blankets, and fell asleep. "N/N, wake up," said Allison's voice the next morning. "Good morning Allie," I said, yawning. I climbed out of bed and straightened the sheets. I quickly changed back into yesterday's clothes and walked down to the living room. We were supposed to discuss the impending apocalypse today. Luther explained everything to the rest of the family, me giving inputs here and there.

"Three days," asked Allison, shocked while handing Luther a coffee. "That's what Five said," replied Luther. "The old bastard did mention an apocalypse, come to think of it. He just left out the part about how soon," said Klaus, sitting on the ground and drinking coffee. "But can we trust him? I don't know if you've noticed, but  Five's a little," said Allison, whistling at the end to show that she thought Five was crazy. "Our little psycho," said Klaus, chuckling. "I don't think Five is lying about this. He is pretty convincing, and those two masked people wouldn't be after him if he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse," I said, standing up from the couch and grabbing a coffee from Allison. "That's why they were after him," asked Diego, looking intensely at me. I just nodded. "What did Five even see," asked Allison.

"Uh... Apparently, we all fought together against whoever was responsible, except Vanya and you, devil child," said Luther, pointing at me in the end. I rolled my eyes. Allison still looked confused when Luther said, "Okay. So, here's the plan. Uh, we go through dad's research--," said Luther, before being interrupted by Allison saying, "Wait, what," Diego saying, "Hold on, hold on," and Klaus saying "Wait a tick, wait a tick." "What actually happened the first time around," asked Klaus when everyone fell silent. "Yeah, what are you not telling us? Come on, big boy, spit it out," said Diego. Luther was silent for a moment before awkwardly replying, "We died," and sipping his coffee. Everybody then started arguing. "EVERYBODY SHUT UP AND TALK LIKE ADULTS," I yelled over their talking, making them all quiet down. "Okay, hold the phone. We all died fighting this thing the first time around. Remember," asked Klaus, the first to break the silence. "Klaus, shockingly, has a point. What gives us a win this time," asked Diego.

Just as Diego finished, electricity crackled at the ceiling of the room. Suddenly, a suitcase and a teenager's body landed right on the bar counter. "Jesus," yelled Allison, surprised. "You guys, am I still high, or do you see him too," asked Klaus as we all looked at Five. "FIVE FUCKING HARGREEVES! WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN, " I yelled, running up to him and hitting him hard up the head. He then toppled off the table. I helped lift him, still fuming.  "I WAS SO SCARED, I THOUGHT YOU DIED! YOU BETTER HAVE A GOOD EXPLANATION, OR I AM GOING TO FUCKING PERFORATE YOU IN YOUR SLEEP," I said, smacking him on his arm after placing him on a barstool. "AND WHO DID THIS TO YOU," I continued yelling, pointing at his disheveled appearance. "Irrelevant," replied Five, rubbing the back of his head where I had smacked him. Diego grabbed me and pulled me away from Five as I prepared to tackle him and kill him. "Doll, doll, doll, calm down," said Diego as everyone looked at me writhing in his arms, still glaring murderously at Five and trying to lunge at him. "Buck, let me at him! I am going to fucking kill him for all the pain he made me suffer through," I snapped angrily, still fighting against his hold. "Doll, you can't kill Five," said Diego. "And who told you so," I replied. "Doll, we all know you like him," he whispered in my ear, making me stiffen. "I do not," I exclaimed, turning my head to face him. "Yes you do," smirked Diego, placing me down. I groaned, rolled my eyes, and sat down on the couch, sulking.

"So, the apocalypse is in 3 days. The only chance we have to save the world is, well, us," said Five, eyes shifting to me ever so often. "The Umbrella Academy," said Luther proudly. "With me, obviously," said Five. "And me," I piped up, still glaring at Diego and Five. "Right. So, if y'all don't get your sideshow acts together and get over yourselves, we're screwed. Who cares if dad messed us up? Are we gonna let that define us? No. And to give us a fighting chance to see next week, I've come back with a lead. I know who is responsible for the apocalypse. This is who we have to stop," said Five, handing a sheet of pepper at the end to Allison. I stood next to her as she opened the piece of paper. "Harold Jenkins," she asked, confused. "Who the hell is Harold Jenkins," I asked, looking at Five. He dramatically looked into the distance, took a sip of coffee, threw the cup away, and said, "I don't know... yet." I groaned. "That was a great motivational speech, but we have nothing except a name to go off of," I said, throwing my hands up in the air with annoyance. "But we do know that he is responsible for the apocalypse. So we have to find him, and we have to do it now," said Five, looking at me. "Fine, I'll help, but you are sticking with me, young man. I don't trust you," I said, pointing my finger accusingly at him. "You sure it's not for another reason, mini Vanya," asked Klaus whispering in my ear while chuckling. I blushed and said, "I'm sure it isn't." "Oh, but look at those rosy cheeks," he said pointing at my reddening cheeks. "Klausy, stop it," I said, walking away from him and near Allison. I said hugged her, and she wrapped her arm around my shoulder

"Hey," said Vanya, making me turn to see her walking in with some other dude. "Hey mom," I said waving at her. "What's going on," asked Vanya, looking at me and then the rest of us. "Oh mom, I was just about to call you. We were having a family meeting and you would be helpful," I said, smiling.  "A family meeting. So obviously you couldn't bother to include me. It's fine, don't let me interrupt," said Vanya, getting upset. "I'll fill you in later," said Allison, moving forward to comfort her. "Please, please, don't bother. And I won't either. There's nothing fair about being your sister. I have been left out of everything for as long as I can remember.  You have had everything, for as long as I can remember. I mean, you even have such a glamorous life, you can rumor anyone into doing anything. And now you take my daughter away from me too," said Vanya, pointing at me in the end. "You're all just assholes," said Vanya, glaring at me in particular. I shriveled back a little. Her tone of voice reminded me of my dad's so much, I got scared. Vanya then walked out, leaving me frozen.

I got up and left the room, going to Five's room, and just stood there, not able to do anything else.
