Sometime later, all of us were standing in the basement, except Five, who was still out. Vanya lurched up and looked around the room, beginning to hyperventilate. She then came up to the door and started screaming while pushing at the door. "YOU LOCKED UP MY MOM BECAUSE YOU THINK SHE HAS POWERS," I yelled at Luther. "No, I know she does. Pogo told me. He's always known, and so did dad," said Luther. "Why would he hide this from us. I mean, am I the only one that didn't know this place existed," asked Diego, looking at Vanya. "NO, STOP IT! STOP ACTING REASONABLE ABOUT THIS. ALL OF YOU HAVE POWERS THAT ARE DANGEROUS TO MAN IF NOT CONTROLLED, AND REGINALD HARGREEVES TRAINED YOU TO NOT DO THAT! HE IS JUST A FUCKING PUSSY WHO COULDN'T BOTHER HELPING MY MOM. NOW LET MY MOM OUT RIGHT NOW AND TRY TO HELP HER RATHER THAN HURT HER," I yelled. I walked up to Luther and started hitting him on the chest, tears streaming down my face. "If you're right. Luther, then maybe she's the one who killed Peabody," said Diego, trying to avoid looking at me. "And hurt Allison," said Luther, unaffected by me. "No, this is Vanya we're talking about. Our sister. The one who always cried when we stepped on ants as kids. This is not difficult to accept, it's impossible to accept," said Klaus, also upset. "DO YOU THINK SHE COULD RAISE  KID WHO SHE DIDN'T EVEN GIVE BIRTH TO IF SHE WAS A FUCKING MASS MURDERER," I said, continuing to punch Luther, the tears flowing faster. "No, they're right. Look, we can't keep her locked up without proof," said Diego. "What proof do we need," asked Luther. "WHY DON'T YOU OPEN THE DOOR AND FUCKING ASK HER," I said. I shakily walked to the room and tried to open it. But the door was too strong, so I couldn't open it. I slid down against the door and curled up into a ball. "Y/N is right. Even if you're right, she needs our help, and we can't do that if she's locked up," said Diego, now getting increasingly agitated. "Yeah, and for all we know, she might be struggling with this new power. I mean, it must be scary. Terrifying, really, to discover that you can do something that you never thought you could do," said Klaus. "Look, if even half of what Pogo told me is true, then she's not just a danger to us," said Luther. "YOU ARE FUCKING HEARTLESS! SHE IS NOT A DANGER TO ANYONE! SHE IS JUST FUCKING FRIGHTENED," I yelled, voice muffled by my knees in front of my face. Just then Allison walked in. I continued to sob into my knees, ignoring what was happening. That was until I heard Five asking, "I heard yelling, is everything okay?"

I raised my head to look up at Five. As soon as he saw me crying, he ran up to me. He stepped in front of me and protectively said, "Whoever made her cry is dead." Five pulled me up into a standing position. He protectively wrapped his arm around my waist as I sobbed into his shoulder. "She wants us to let Vanya out, but Vanya has powers and hurt Allison. I can't let her go," said Luther stubbornly, while all the other siblings protested. Five moved forward to open the door, me still at his side. Luther stopped Five and said, "She stays put." "YOU'RE A MONSTER," I yelled, sobbing more. "I am sorry, P/T/O/E, I can't do anything," said Five softly. He grasped my head softly, wrapping his other arm around my waist. He led me away from the room, keeping my eyes away from Vanya, trying to keep me from getting more upset.

Five took me to his room. He sat down on the bed, with me curled up into a ball and sitting right beside him. I sobbed into his sheet, and he rubbed my back. "What did you do with Dolores," I asked him with a hoarse voice, trying to distract myself. "I kept her back where she belongs. I think I finally found someone better for me," said Five. I was jealous of whoever this new girl was who captured his heart but didn't say anything. I looked up at him sadly. He smiled softly, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear (if possible). He gently wiped off the remaining tears from under my probably red-rimmed eyes.

Suddenly, power flooded through my body. A heartbeat that I couldn't recognize flooded through my brain. I had half a mind to believe I was dreaming. That was, until some of the power flowed out of me, just as I heard a humongous crash. "She's free," I said to Five, concerned for my mother. Five looked at me with equal parts fear and concern. "Mom is free, and now she is going to hurt each and every one of us for what we did," I said. "She is more powerful than all of us put together," said Five, his voice soft with concern for the family.

"We're screwed," Five and I said in unison.
