We soon reached Jenkins's house. "Be careful, okay? We don't know what Peobody's capable of," said Allison as Diego moved towards the house. "Yeah, he didn't seem dangerous when I first saw him. Looked kinda scrawny," said Diego. I rolled my eyes, pointed at Five, and said, "Have you forgotten that this kid right next to me is a hitman?" "Thanks, P/T/O/E," said Five, looking at me. "Man, murdering someone would be so much fun," I sighed. "Anyway, you do have a point Y/N. So, what's this guy want with Vanya," asked Diego. "I don't know. How about we ask him after we kill him," asked Five while climbing up the stairs, wincing a little. I thought nothing of it, climbing up the stairs too. "Whoa, whoa. Hey look, I'm gonna bust through-," said Diego before looking around and sighing. I looked to see that Allison was gone. "You know what, it would be nice for people to just stick to-," said Diego as Five grabbed my hand. Suddenly, I felt like I was being pushed through a pipe and drowning at the same time. When I opened my eyes, I saw that we were inside the house. I also felt nauseous. "Never do that again without telling me," I said, cupping a hand over my mouth. He chuckled, just as the glass of the front door smashed and Diego crashed onto the floor. I winced a little before rushing to Diego's side and helping him up. As I cleaned the glass from his back, Allison walked in and said, "Subtle."

"You know the door was unlocked," said Five, pointing at the door while opening it. "Yeah, well my way works just fine," said Diego angrily. "You okay, Buck," I asked, looking at his hurt arm with concern. "I'm fine, doll. Now, spread out. Yell if you... you know, you're in trouble," said Diego while walking away. "Inspiring leadership," Five and I said at the same time before looking at each other and smiling. "Okay lovebirds, I'm going upstairs," said Allison before climbing up the stairs. "What do you mean by that," I asked her. When I didn't receive a reply, I groaned, grabbed Five's hand, and walked to some random room. As we started looking around, I heard Allison call us. Five grabbed my hand and we quickly climbed up the stairs behind Diego. When we entered some weird attic-type thing I looked around the room to see a whole lot of The Umbrella Academy merchandise. "All our faces are burnt off," said Allison, which made me notice all the damage specifically on their faces. "Well, that's not creepy. This guy's got some serious issues," said Diego, looking around. "Ooooh, finally a proper psychopath," I squealed looking around the room too. "And what am I," asked Five, playing hurt. "A softie," I said, smiling at him innocently. "This was never about Vanya. This was about us," said Allison, just as Five started breathing heavily. "Five, are you okay," I asked, looking at him with concern. "What? Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," replied Five before collapsing. "Five? What is it," I asked as his breathing became irregular. I looked down to see blood. "Blood. Fuck, shit, dammit," I said while pulling his shirt up. I saw a bullet hole. "Jesus, Five," said Diego, looking at the bullet hole too. "Why didn't you say anything," he asked. "You have to keep going. So...close," said Five faintly before closing his eyes. "Five? Five? Fucking hell, Diego, get the car ready, Allison, help me carry Five without hurting him," I commanded. Diego ran down the stairs while Allison and I carried Five to the car. I sat down in the back and placed his head on my lap. "DIEGO DRIVE," I yelled as soon as Allison got into the car. Diego smashed the accelerator and the car went hurtling down the road. "Five, you cannot die on me, okay? Stay awake for me, please. I can't lose you too," I said, tears falling from my eyes. I put pressure on his wound to reduce the bleeding.

After what seemed like hours, we finally reached the Academy. When I walked in with Five, I saw Grace standing there, alive. "Grace, Grace, please help him," I begged desperately. She nodded, got Five up to his room, and started tending to him. The whole time I stood in the corridor, tapping my foot anxiously. "Grace, can I come in," I asked her. "Of course, dear. I'm almost done patching him up," Grace said, beaming up at me. I smiled softly and sat near Five, grabbing one of his hands and rubbing comforting circles on his hands with my thumb. Soon, Grace was done, leaving me and Five alone. "Please be fine Five, I need you," I said softly, sniffling a little. When I received no response of any sort, I sighed sadly, curled up into a ball next to him. "I love you, Five," I said softly before falling asleep. In my dreams, there was the sound of an engine, and it just kept resonating in my mind, making it sound all weird and distorted. I hear kicking and screaming and suddenly I felt utterly powerful. Then, everything swirled away and I fell into a dreamless slumber. "Y/N, wake up," said someone, shaking me awake. "Ugh, shut the fuck up. I am a growing child and I need sleep. Unless there is coffee," I groaned before stuffing my head into the pillow. "Well, Klaus did say there was coffee," said the voice. "Okay, I'm up then," I said, hopping out of bed and stretching. I turned to face the person and saw Five smiling at me. "Holy shit, Five! You're awake," I cheered. I tackled him in a hug, which made him groan. "Fuck, sorry," I said. "No, no, it's fine," he said before hugging me back. After hugging for a few seconds, I got up and said, "Let's get some coffee." We both walked down to the kitchen, where Klaus was handing all of us coffee.

"Klausy, you are an angel," I said, grabbing one of the cups. Five snatched the coffee from my hand before could even take a sip. "I would punch you for that, but you have a bullet wound, so I won't," I said threateningly to Five. He smirked before taking a sip of coffee. "Jesus, who do I got to kill to get a decent cup of coffee," asked Five, grimacing. "Well, you don't have to kill anyone, you just have to steal something," I said while getting up. "Oh really, what's that," asked Five jokingly. "My heart," I smirked before going to make him a cup of coffee. "When I turned back around to face him, his cheeks were still pink. "Here," I said, handing him the coffee. "Thanks, P/T/O/E," said Five, sipping the coffee and sighing in satisfaction.

"Anyone seen any of the others? Allison? Diego? No? All right then, this is the closest thing to a quorum that we're going to get," said Klaus while smacking a spatula against the table, making Luther groan. "Now, listening up. There's no easy way to say this, so I'm just gonna spit it out. Yeah," said Klaus before becoming silent again. "Klaus," said Luther, making Klaus say, "I conjured dad last night." There was an awkward silence as everybody stared at Klaus in disbelief, before Luther said, "You said you haven't been able to conjure someone in years." "Ah yes, but I'm sober. Ta-Da! I got clean yesterday to talk to someone special, and then ended up having this... conversation with dear old daddy himself," said Klaus. There was a moment of silence before Luther asked, "Has anyone got some aspirin?" "Top shelf, next to the crackers," replied Five, continuing to drink his coffee. "Hey, hey, hey. This is serious, guys, alright? This really happened, I swear," said Klaus. "Alright, I'll play. What did the old man have to say," asked Five.

"Well, he gave the usual lecture about my appearance and my failures in life. Yada, yada, yada. No surprise there. Even the afterlife couldn't soften a hardass like Dad, right? But, he did mention something about his murder, or lack thereof, because... he killed himself," said Klaus, moving his spatula around. "I don't have time for your games Klaus," said Luther, just as I said, "I believe you, Klausy." "I'm telling you the truth, Luther. See, Y/N believes me," said Klaus, trying to stop Luther. "Y/N is a kid," said Luther, glaring at me. "And Luther is half a monkey," I replied, sticking my tongue out at him. "Why'd he do it then," asked Five. "He said it was the only way to get us all home again," replied Klaus. "No. Dad wouldn't just kill himself," said Luther indignantly. "First of all, are you the one who can contact ghosts or Klaus? Second of all, you said it yourself, he was depressed. Holed up in his room and office, all day, all night," I said matter-of-factly. "No, there weren't any signs. Suicidal people exhibit certain tendencies, strange behaviors," said Luther, before being interrupted by Klaus saying, "Like sending someone to the moon for no reason?" "I swear to god, Klaus, if you are lying," threatened Luther, making Klaus say, "I'm not. I'm not."

"Master Klaus is correct," said Pogo, coming out from the shadows.
