After a long and confusing day, I went straight home, took a shower, and climbed into bed. I barely had time to cocoon myself in my blanket before I conked out.

My dreams were of me and Renji.....

And Byakuya....

It started with just Renji and I, sitting in the park with a nice picnic at midnight, with a full moon over head.

"Ali..." Renji whispered, looking at me.

"Yes, Renji?" I said, looking at him.

He reached over and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "Ali, I-"

He didn't finish. He dissapeared and Byakuya took his place.

"Ali." He said, tracing my jawline with his finger tip.

I could hardly speak, too entranced by him.

"Byakuya...."

He leaned closer, and his face flickered and turned into Renji's, which turned into Byakuya's a split-second later, and so on and so forth until Renji/Byakuya's lips were a hairs width away from my own............

And both their faces turned into a giant alarm clock with a mouth, which was stretched wide and going 'BRIIIIIIIIIIIING!'.

I woke with a gasp and half a second later, the clock was out the window.

I sat up and ran a hand through my wild bed head, wondering why I was so unsettled. I figured it had to do with my dream.

But what was that dream about?

I trudged tiredly into class, not feeling very rested despite my full-night's sleep. People whispered as I passed, and I was dissapointed that the blonde girl was here, her nose good as new, but somewhat pleased when she kept her distance.

And then Asshat had to ruin it by making me apologize to her in front of the whole class. It was painful, but I managed to grit my teeth and say it so it was just recognizable.

Im such a good person.

We got our scores back, and though I thought Asshat would flunk me just out of pure hatred, I got my rightful full marks.

"Keep in mind that I wasn't the one to grade these," Asshat clarified. "Otherwise, some of you-" and cue non conspicuous look at me. "-would not be here still..."

That explains it.

But still, I got full marks! Yay!

Ain't I just a modern day Einstein? (^w^)y

I counted down the time till class ended so I could go show Yumichika and Ikkaku my test. I wonder if they'll be proud, how they'll react?

I imagined Ikkaku laughing, calling me a nerd but ruffling my hair in a brotherly way.

Yumichika would praise me and scold Ikkaku for being rude, causing a small argument between the two.

The thought made me smile.

"Miss Heitsu!"

I jumped and looked at Asshat.

"W-What?!"

The class broke into laughter as a cruel smirk drifted onto Asshat's face.

"I don't know how you managed to pass, Miss Heitsu," he said, obviously enjoying making a fool of me. "After all, you can hardly stay focused long enough to listen to the shortest of lectures."

Oh, the smart-assy things that could be said.

Biting the inside of my cheek, I grumbled, "Sorry... Sir...." I think I just died a little inside...

He said something else, but I- being the amazingly talented person I am- blocked it out. I stared at my desktop, pretending to be embarrassed at whatever spiteful comments he must be saying that made my classmates roar with laughter, which was a bit harder to block out.

The door slid open, and I looked up to see a certain head of red hair. "Ah, Ali," Renji said, grinning. "Perfect, I've been looking everywhere for you."

Attempting to push down a blush, I leapt to my feet. "What's up?"

"You've been summoned to a meeting with the head captain," he said, making the whispering class go silent as I felt the blood rush from my cheeks.

What'd I do?

"O-Okay..." I mumbled, getting my things.

"You don't mind, do you?" Renji asked Asshat.

"Of course not," Asshat replied, and I knew he was imagining the worst possible punishment being inflicted on me, not caring for what reason I deserved it.

So, pale and nervous, I followed Renji out of the classroom, staring at his back as he led me to my impending doom.
