Running Away | A Shin Soukoku Fanfiction

Well hello. Welcome to another Bungou Stray Dogs fanfiction. Uhh so this one is gonna be an assassin x target type of setting, Akutagawa being the assassin and Atsushi being the target. The idea got into my head when I was finishing writing Captured, my ChuuAku fanfiction.

This fic might have some violence because of, well, the plot IS assassin x their target so... yeah.. It kind of explains itself? Anyways, here is some background information.

Working in the criminal underworld is a grueling task but Ryunosuke Akutagawa, the top assassin in Yokohama, has been working like this for years. Working as a hired hitman and tracker, he makes money to support himself and his sister. Being backed by the government has its perks, aside for having to give up some information in order to get hired but that's fine to him. However, there are some organizations he works for that aren't exactly aligned with the government.

When Akutagawa gets the call from Mori Ogai, the feared leader of the Port's Wolves organization of Yokohama, however, he can't exactly say no. His life and likely his sister's life depends on his cooperation. He's been given the task of killing one of the operatives of a rival organization, the Silver Whispers. To be exact, Nakajima Atsushi, the organization's top information broker. Mori wanted the man dead because Atsushi had recently gained vital information about the Port Wolves's illegal trading operations. That information, if leaked, could bring down a lot of financial lawsuits and legal problems.

However, this assignment proves to be much harder than the assassin had expected.

Anyways, that's basically the synopsis of the whole thing. As you may have already figured out, Mori's organization, the Port Mafia, has turned into the Port's Wolves and Fukuzawa's ADA is now the Silver Whispers. The two have been in an undeclared war for a few years now and Mori figures that if you take out a vital part of the enemy, good may arise for your side.
