"Cheri. Stark say's that he's coming. That your brother is nearly here." Remy said, as he walked into the room. The doctors thankfully leaving the pair to talk.

"I........I know. I can feel him. They're getting stronger, Remy. My powers. I can feel them coursing through my veins.

Even though Remy had to admit that he didn't mind the idea of forgetting all about this. He knew (Y/n) well enough to know, that if she let this opportunity slip through her fingers, then she would regret it. That, and he knew that it was only right that she found out what she really was. Found out what she was really capable of. Then, he would be more than happy to get out of there.

"You know that you don't want that, (Y/n). The Avengers have everything in place. If anything happens, they will be able to contain it. But we won't know anything, until you and your brother meet." Remy explain as he took (Y/n)'s shaking hand. The highly skilled former thief knowing, that even though he didn't want to have to share her with anyone else, he was here for (Y/n). Here to make the woman he loved, happy. So, all he could hope for now, was that (Y/n) would still want to be happy with him, rather than in space with her brother.

"You're right, Remy. Even if all this goes wrong. Even if this is a mistake. I need to know. I need to see him." (Y/n) replied, as she jumped down from the examination table, taking Remy's hand in hers and leading him out of the room.

"Peter." Gamora said quietly, as she made her way out of the cockpit. The rest of the Guardians deciding that it would be better to let Rocket fly the Milano, given Peter's current state of nervousness.

"We have just entered the Terran atmosphere. We should be at the Avenger compound within minutes." Gamora added, as she took a seat next to the ex Ravager.

"I......I know. I can feel her, Gamora. I can feel the same strange sensation as when I held the power stone. I can feel it course through my veins." Peter said as he looked down at his hands.

"Maybe........maybe this isn't a good idea. Maybe we should just go back to space. Get Stark to tell (Y/n) that we had to leave. That us meeting could be dangerous." Peter added worriedly, as he turned his attention to the adopted daughter of the Titan, by his side.

Even though Gamora had to admit that she wasn't sure that all this was a good idea. She knew Peter well enough to know, that if he let this opportunity slip through his fingers, then she would regret it. Peter had not only lost his mother, but he had also lost Yondu. So now, his sister was the only real family that he had left. That, and it was only right that (Y/n) found out what she really was. Found out what she was really capable of.

"You know that you don't want that, Pete. The Avengers have everything in place. If anything happens, they will be able to contain it. But we won't know anything, until you and your sister meet." Gamora explained, as he took Peter's shaking hand. The highly skilled former Zehoberei assassin knowing, that even though she wasn't sure about this, she was doing this for Peter. That she was there to make the man she loved, happy. So, all she could hope for now, was that Peter would still be happy, if (Y/n) didn't want to return with them to space.

"You're right. Even if all this goes wrong. Even if this is a mistake. I need to know. I need to see her." Peter replied, as he got to his feet, taking Gamora's hand in his, and leading her back into the cockpit.

                                                      >>---------------------------------<<

(Y/n) stared in disbelief as she and Remy made their way out to the landing pad, where the Avengers were already waiting. The.....well, the spaceship, was more than she had actually expected. Not that she had really known what to expect. It wasn't every day that you came face to face with a craft that could traverse the stars. Let alone one that was captained by your own long lost brother. She had to admit that it was very Peter. Well, at least it was the Peter that she had known. (Y/n) unable to stop herself from smiling a little, as she thought about her brother calling himself "Star Lord". Though it was no sillier than her own name, her fellow mutants giving her the moniker "Mystify", as it was always a puzzle as to what her actual, and full abilities, really were.

"Are you alright, cher?" Remy asked, as (Y/n) suddenly stopped. The half celestial sure that if she didn't calm her rapidly beating heart, something could happen that wasn't good.

"Look at me." Remy said, as he took (Y/n)'s face in his hands.

"Everything is going to be alright, (Y/n). I'm here." The mutant assured. A soft smile pulling at his lips, as (Y/n) nodded slowly, knowing that he was right.

"I know. But promise me, if anything goes wrong. If Peter doesn't like me, or doesn't want to know me, that you'll take me right back to the school. If anything happens to my powers, that you'll get Stark and Banner to lock me down, for everyone's sake. Things have already begun to change, and I haven't even met Peter yet." (Y/n) sighed. Taking Remy in her arms as he agreed to do as she asked. The pair turning and taking the last few steps to join the Avengers as they waited for the Guardians to make an appearance.

                                                             >>-------------------------------<<

"I think that we should fly to see your sister more often." Gamora said, smiling as she looked at the Terran. Gamora sure that Peter had been through every item of clothing that he had, to find the least wrinkled and dirty outfit possible. The former assassin sure that she had never seen Quill, look quite so dapper.

"Do you think that she'll like how I look? I knew we should have stopped off at Knowhere before we came. I could have got something more suitable. But what is more suitable for meeting a sister that you never thought you'd see again? I mean.....what exactly will she be expecting? God.....I hope that Stark or any of the others haven't told her any of the stories about me. I don't want her thinking that I am some kind of lawless space pirate that will do anything for a unit. I.........."

"Peter. Stop!" Gamora exclaimed. Taking the words out of the other Guardian's mouths as they all listened to Peter turn back into the wildly rambling mess, that he had been since he had received word that a woman claiming to be his sister, wanted to meet him.

"Everything is going to be fine. Your sister is going to love you. You were a space pirate that would do anything for units. And if the Avengers haven't already told her that, I am sure that Rocket will take great delight in letting her know. I am sure that she is as nervous as you are. Now, stop fussing and let's get this over with. You aren't the only one that wants to meet this sister of yours, you know." Gamora assured, as she took Peter's hand and waited for the ramp of the Milano to lower. The Ravagers grip getting tighter as the Guardians caught their first glimpse of the amassed faces.

It was true to say that Peter had no idea what to expect. He could remember a beautiful and happy little girl, with eyes and a smile that he was sure could light even the darkness of space. But other than that, he couldn't say. He had never had any photos to remember his mother or sister by, so the few memories that he did have, he had cling to. Yet, he knew that it didn't matter what (Y/n) looked like, he knew that he would love her.

                                                             >>-------------------------------<<

(Y/n)'s grasp on Remy's hand tightened, as the ramp of the ship lowered. She had no idea what would be coming out to meet her. She could remember a handsome little boy with brown hair and blue eyes, with a smile that she was sure had been as bright as a hundred watt lightbulb. But other than that, she couldn't say. She hadn't had any pictures to remember her brother and mother by, so the few memories that she did have, she had clung to desperately. Though she was sure that over the years that these memories had become clouded. Yet, the roguish space pirate that the Avengers had described, did seem like images that she could remember. But she knew that it didn't matter how her brother appeared. She knew that she would still love him.

Slowly, the unfamiliar faces began to make their way out onto the compound roof. (Y/n) recalling their names from Clint and the other's descriptions of Peter's crew mates. A racoon called Rocket. A tree like creature named Groot. A female of some kind with antenna, called Mantis. A large, greyish-blue male with red markings that was called Drax. A green creature named Gamora. And then..........then there he was. Standing all alone on the ramp as the Guardians and Avengers looked between the two siblings. Peter smiling as he caught the first glimpse of his sister since he had been taken from Terra by the Ravagers. (Y/n) letting go of Remy's hand and racing up to Peter. The two half celestials becoming one as they embraced.
