Tony took a deep breath as the agent unlocked the door to the room. Behind the ingress still stood the wolf. A huge creature with claws that he had seen, slice through adamantium like a hot knife through butter. Teeth so large and sharp she had shredded vibranium like it was paper. No one present in the little room able to believe what they were seeing. The doctors muttering frantically, as they had watched the large beast bound at speed from wall to wall. Able to use her nails to dig into the reinforced concrete of its confinement. Her snarls and growls making everyone take a few steps back whenever she got close to the mirror.
All Bruce had been able to surmise, was that whatever Hydra had done to (Y/n), had allowed the wolf to perform such acts. That they had made the already formidable animal, even stronger. (Y/n) had previously said that the doctors had given her something to rectify her susceptibility to silver. So why not more? Why not make her more dangerous than one of her kind, naturally was? If Hydra were going to send her to take on the Avengers, they would need to ensure that she could win. That she wouldn't be brought down by anything as simple as Cap's shield. That the Hulk would be easy pickings for her bite. And that she would be quick enough to dodge one of Iron Man's repulsor blasts.
But for now, they had what they needed. Bruce telling the billionaire that he and the others had more than enough to work through. So perhaps, Tony should be the one to see if (Y/n) worked well with others while she was the creature. Bruce reasoning that given their obvious rapport, (Y/n) was less likely to eat Tony than him.
"Hi sweetheart." Tony hesitantly said, as he stepped into the room. The agent quickly locking the door behind the pair, as (Y/n) turned her attention to the billionaire.
"You........you did brilliantly. Bruce and the others have enough information to keep them busy for months. So, that means no more tests for a while. I er..........." Tony continued nervously. Taking a few steps back, as the big beast moved closer. Her form looming over his.
"Hey. If you're about to eat me, I swear that I would be all gristle. You should eat someone like Rogers instead. I'm sure that he would taste great with a bit of barbeque sauce." Tony commented. Letting out a sigh of relief, as he saw the gentle look in the wolf's eyes. A broad grin spreading across the creature's lips, as it shook its head at the billionaire's words.
"Well, if you don't fancy the all-American buffet. You could try something with a Russian twist. Barnes I am sure would be just as juicy as Rogers. Clint would be more that free range, organic kind of taste. What with his farm and everything. Thor would probably taste of pop tarts and coffee..........." Tony added, liking the fact that he was stood in the room with a werewolf teasing her about eating all of them. The billionaire furrowing his brows slightly, as (Y/n) shook her head and pointed to the floor. Tony watching as she scratched a message into the concrete beneath her.
"I like gristle!" The words read. The werewolf suddenly breaking out into what could only be described as a laugh, as she looked at the shocked look on Tony's face.
"Oh, ha ha! Very funny. Smart ass. Now, why don't you change back, and we can go eat something that is less........well, less me." Tony chuckled, watching as the earlier process began to reverse. (Y/n)'s bones appearing to once again break and creak. Her body convulsing and jolting. Her head shaking as the muzzle slowly moved backwards, to be replaced by (Y/n)'s beautiful face. The fur disappearing, to be replaced by soft, flawless skin. Tony taking off his jacket and placing it around her shoulders as (Y/n)'s form finally fully changed back.
"Well? What did you think? I don't mean to blow my own horn, but I think that I am pretty damn impressive." (Y/n) laughed, as Tony picked her up from the floor. The billionaire kicking at the door to get the agent to let them out. Tony glaring at the agent. as he looked at the woman that had once been the beast. Not liking the way, the man's eyes seemed to be lingering on her form.
"I think that you are impressive, full stop. Werewolf or not werewolf, sweetheart. Now, let's go and find you something to wear, then we can get food and I can introduce you around." Tony agreed. Smiling as (Y/n) snuggled happily into his arms.
>>--------------------------------<<
"So? Do I look ok?" (Y/n) asked, as she appeared from inside the walk-in wardrobe, sporting an Iron Maiden t-shirt, and a pair of black sweatpants. Spinning around so that the billionaire could get a good look at her. Tony sure that his clothes had never looked so good before.
"Hmmmmmm. Not bad I suppose. I think they look better on me though." Tony joked. Dodging the cushion that came whizzing past his head.
"I will have you know, mister smarty pants billionaire, that I make this stuff look good. And it was either this, or one of those expensive looking tuxedos that you have in there. Now you can call me old fashioned, but I believe in only dressing up for dinner." (Y/n) chuckled, as she came to sit next to Tony on the bed.
She wished that she could tell him how she felt. She wished that she could explain to him what had happened. Yet (Y/n) was sure that what Tony had already seen, was probably enough for one day. That telling him that the wolf within her had imprinted on him, could wait for another time. For she knew that she had the rest of her life. She knew that the wolf would never let her leave his side. Not that she would want too anyway. Imprinting for a werewolf was more than just mere love. It was stronger, deeper, more profound, and some may even say, spiritual. It meant that nothing else mattered but that person. The wolf willing to give its own life to protect the one it loved. Willing to go to any lengths to remain with them.
Hydra had tried to force her to imprint before. Hoping that if the wolf became attached to one of their agents, that they would have had another way of controlling her. That they would never have had to worry about their weapon escaping. Yet no matter how much they had tried. No matter who they had tried. They had never been able to make the beast, fall. Never able to find the werewolf's soul mate. Yet when she had seen him. As soon as she had laid eyes on him. She had known. She had known that no matter what, she would always be by his side. That she would defend and watch over him for as long as she lived.
"So? Are you going to feed me, or do I have to gnaw on your gristly ass?" (Y/n) asked, as Tony got to his feet and offered her his hand. The billionaire not thinking that this was the right time to tell her that he would just be happy to stay where they were, for the rest of their lives. Sure, that she was the only food that his heart had ever needed.
"Well, when you put it like that. How could I say no." Tony replied, as (Y/n) took his hand. The two making their way out of the room and down to the kitchens. Tony hoping that introducing the werewolf to the others, would go without a hitch.
