yesterday after skipping school with sohye, jisung decided enough was enough and went over to hyunjin's house. he knew well enough that is where the boys usually go after school, since he lives somewhat in the middle of everyone. seungmin's house is only four minutes away, jisung and jeongin were about seven minutes away, and felix was hyunjin's next door neighbor.
when he got there, the four boys were in the backyard. they seemed to just be relaxing, but when they saw jisung changed their vibes immediately. it wasn't until jisung apologized that they went back to normal, well after jisung beat seungmin up for giving him detention.
now that they were back to how they always are, jisung drove into school with ease because of this. when he parked, he noticed hyunjin pulling in seconds after him. "yo!"
"yo!!" felix screamed through the open window, hyunjin honking at jisung repeatedly as the boy danced in his parking spot. eventually, the squirrel boy moved so the other two could park. that didn't stop people from looking at them, rolling their eyes but expecting nothing less from the friend group.
as chaotic and annoying as they can be, everyone loved the crew. they were too good to hate, and as senior year approaches, even the teachers are sad to see them go.
"damn, you're here early." hyunjin told jisung, closing the door behind him as felix met them after passing behind hyunjin's truck. "did she think you were a bad kisser and dump your ass?"
"you wish, my lips are on the top of everyones list." jisung stuck his tongue out, the three walking into the school as the boy pointed over at a yellow beetle car, "she didn't want a ride today. said she needed to get here early, so i was all by my lonesome this morning."
"woww, he's actually let her breathe. it's a miracle, lix." hyunjin giggled as he wrapped his arm around felix's shoulder. felix also laughed, jisung flipping off the taller one.
as the three boys got inside, they saw jeongin drinking his milk yogurt. the boy stood up from the bench, throwing away the cup as he made his way over to them. "there's a new dlc package coming out this friday, we need to get it. only fifty dollars.. plus taxes. cheap as hell considering all of us have jobs— well except for seungmin but that dude is loaded."
"is the dlc even worth it? last time they released some new characters and all of them were absolute shit. wasted thirty dollars on that disaster." felix asked, sitting down at a round bench in the open school hallway.
jisung sat next to felix, agreeing with him immediately, "okay actually, hero was pretty good if you know how to, ya know, play the game."
