there are some people who just cannot control their emotions, some people who just have so much love in their hearts that it spills over in their chest. if sohye could fit anyone into that category, it'd be han jisung.

the boy laid next to her in her bed, pressing sweet little kisses all over her. most of his kisses are quick and light and extra extra soft, like a small chipmunk trying it's best to bite you but it only results in tickling. thats all sohye knew of him, so when he all of a sudden began to deepen the kiss and become a whole other person, she was taken by surprise.

maybe it was the fact that this was her first make out session, or her genuinely starting to feel something for jisung. whatever it was, as he somewhat positioned himself on top of her, there were clearly other things she'd rather focus on.

jisung's roaming hands happened to land under her shirt, the two comfortable with the way they were going. in fact, sohye felt the relationship going to an entirely new level until the knock at her door made them jump apart.

jisung sat up faster than light, sohye slightly sitting up in the bed as she adjusted her shirt, "come in."

with permission, her father walked in and looked bewildered to see jisung. he never expected to see a boy in his daughters room, much less see a boy with messy hair and pink cheeks, his lips still bright from all the kissing. "oh, just wanted to make sure you were alive."

"alive and healthy." sohye answered, unable to handle the awkward atmosphere in the room. she looked at her dad staring at jisung, and grabbed her boyfriends hand, "this is jisung, he's my... we've been in a relationship for a while now."

"nice to meet you, sohye talks a lot about you." jisung immediately stood up, shaking her father's hand and cringed when he heard himself. sohye never talks about him.

her dad smiled, "no need to lie. i was just about to order some food, would you guy's like to join me? we can have a, uhh, a family dinner?"

"no, dad—"

"sure!" jisung smiled, turning around to see the glare from his girlfriend, "it sounds fun?"

"great. i'll call you guys down when the food's here." her dad grinned, closing the door behind him as his footsteps disappeared.

jisung watched the door for a while, then looked back at sohye. her expression was unreadable, but she didn't look very happy.

it's not like her relationship with her father was horrible, but she wasn't ready to have dinner with both her father and boyfriend. she never eats with him, so it was so out of the ordinary to invite her this time. of course, it was because of jisung, but still.
