seungmin walked into school the following morning, his bag draped over his shoulder. people told him good morning as he walked through the hall, the boy awkwardly waving back, as he does every day, and made his way to his locker. his locker happened to be on the other side of the entrance, so the walk was a bit long.
as he made his way, he noticed the vice student president walk up to him, papers in hand. seungmin mentally groaned, but stopped walking so she could catch up. "any news?"
"quite a few. but none of them really matter.. what's going on with you, where were you yesterday?" jiyoon asked, looking at him as he stayed quiet. "the boy's were losing it. i'm surprised they didn't cut out early like you."
"i just felt ill. i'm okay now, tell me which news i'm missing." seungmin shook his head, the two still walking to his locker.
jiyoon nodded, handing him some papers that she brought from the office. "these letters need to be sent out by next week. we just need you to put the official stamp on them... its for students who are failing and need to do remedial. now these papers are for the pep rally that the younger classmen want to throw for some reason. just reject it, honestly. and lastly, these are suggestions for prom decorations and the pricing of them. i know you don't handle the budgeting, but i couldn't find mrs. gwan."
"since when did they start offering remedial here?" seungmin asked, and looked over at the shorter girl as she shrugged. "you never know stuff."
"don't test me, kim seungmin!" jiyoon pointed at him, her finger close to his cheek as he forced out a laugh. jiyoon and him weren't friends, but he didn't hate her. she was cool, just not someone he really would care to hang out with. "so.. listen. i was talking to hyunjin about prom—"
"i'm not getting involved. if you want to ask him, ask him. if you like him, don't tell me. i really don't care to know." seungmin pressed his lips together, and walked away from her as he saw his friends in front of jeongin's locker.
jiyoon sadly watched as he walked away, her shoulders dropping as she watched him make his ways to the boys. once seeing them all tackle seungmin into the lockers, she rolled her eyes with a smile and walked away.
hyunjin was the first to try and choke seungmin, jisung following by playfully punching his stomach and bringing him to the lockers. the others joined in cause it looked fun.
"i'm sorry, okay! i didn't want to yak over anyone, and i mean it's not like i didn't tell you guys what we were gonna be doing yesterday for decorating. not my fault you guys tend to ignore me!" seungmin looked at all of them, some scratching their heads as others awkwardly looked away.
