sohye sat up in math class, looking at the clock. she gasped, realizing class was over. the girl stood up from her desk, collecting her things.

anger rushed over, as she turned to spot the empty teachers desk. where is mrs. yuens decency? was waking up a student too nice for her, or what? how annoying.

sohye ignored it, and walked out of the math classroom. she noticed it had been two hours since class had been over, meaning she needed to be in science now.

the girl groaned, knowing that mr. choi was going to be entirely too tough on her. 'why are you late?' 'wheres my note' 'don't you sleep at home?'

she'll be lucky if he doesn't call her father. the last thing she needed was to bother him. as of lately, he had been more stressed than usual. he comes home later and leaves earlier.

sohye doesn't even recall seeing him for more than a week now. some would say their relationship wasn't the greatest, but sohye chose to ignore that. she was happy. he was happy. they were happy.

at least she convinced herself of that.

sohye walked to class, eventually standing in front of the science classroom.

through the door, she can already hear the man lecturing a student for writing while he was talking. sohye furrowed her eyebrow, and with a bold decision, the girl turned from the classroom.

after walking away, she successfully made it out of the science part of the school. this was her last class of the day, so she considered leaving.

sadly, she didn't. she promised jisung she would be attending the prom meetings, and lying wasn't something she did. often.

so instead, the girl had to preoccupy herself doing something else in the meantime.

the girl entered the empty math classroom, knowing that mrs. yuen wouldn't be back for the day. she took out her sketchbook, and accidentally flipped open to a torn page.

the girl furrowed her eyebrows, hating this drawing. it was stupid, she was ashamed of it. the girl grabbed a pencil from her pouch, and drew an 'x' over the half ripped paper.

however, that wasn't enough. after the 'x' she followed it with a scribble. the scribble became more and more aggressive until she was practically just scratching the page in anger.

the drawing said too much about her and it showed too much feelings. scratching it wasn't good enough. you could still see it.
