"Ain't nobody love, ain't nobody love like you do, ain't nobody love, ain't nobody love like you-u-u-u do," - Tori Kelly

"Ray-Ray," someone shook me gently, "wake up,"
"Alexander?" I guessed.
"It's me baby, c'mon," he said softly.
"My name is Raelyn, not baby," I told him.
He laughed lightly, but said no more.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"We're in South Carolina, hun," He smiled a cheeky smile and I heaved a sigh, knowing that he would never call me by my real name.
"South Carolina," I whispered to myself.
"Go back to sleep, we won't be there for a few more hours," Mr. Pillar said from the passenger seat. One of his guards were driving.
"Okay," I stifled a yawn and fell asleep once again.
***
"Raelyn, wake up,"
When I eyes opened, I was surprised to see that it was neither Alexander or Mr. Pillar who had woken me.
"Jessie! Oh my god!"
I hugged him in the tight space of the car.
"Let's go so you can see the others," Jessie told me after our embrace was broken.
"Where's Alexander?" I asked.
"Right here, baby!" He yelled from somewhere.
When I exited the car, I saw that we were on a farm.
With crops that could go for miles, a barn, and a cute house in the midst of it all.
"Want a piggy-back ride?" Jessie asked.
I nodded my head and hopped on his back.
"Giddy up little Jessie!" I shouted while waving my right hand in a circular motion.
"I see you losers have finally made it here,"
"Oh, Hanna it's so good to finally see you. Not! Ha! Did you get my joke there? I said it was great to see you when what I really want, is for you to just stop existing in this world but, eh," I shrugged my shoulders, "that's life,"
"Same old, same old," she muttered angrily.
"Guess who," someone covered my eyes from behind.
"Brianne!" I yelled happily. I jumped off of Jessie's back, spun around and gave her a tight hug.
"How come I don't get hugs like that?" Jaxon asked as he suddenly came into the room.
I walked over to him and gave him a tight hug as well.
"Now that everyone is here, we can get down to business," Mr. Pillar stated while Jaxon and I broke apart.
"Why?" Alexander whined, "We just got here!"
"Did he whine this much when he was with you?" Mr. Pillar asked me.
"Yes," I said exasperatedly, "you should have heard him, 'My feet hurt, I'm thirsty, my hair needs conditioner', it was actually quite funny though," I told everyone.
"So did anything exciting happen on your trip?" Jaxon asked.
Alexander and I looked at each other, not wanting to share all of the information, because if we told them everything, we would get in deep trouble.
"Nothing important," Alexander said while keeping eye contact with me, trying not to crack a smile.
"Yeah," my smile was starting to break out, "nothing important,"
Then I tried to switch topics as fast as possible.
"I'm hungry, is there food here?"
"Well, we don't have the gourmet food here like you did at the academy," Hanna said rudely.
"Well you know," I spoke to Hanna, "Since you've been gone, there have been no more bitches at our school. It's like they all just suddenly disappeared when you left," I told her.
"Maybe that's probably because she was the whole bitch population," Alexander suggested.
"Bingo," I said to him, holding my hand up for a high-five, which he kindly accepted.
Hanna scoffed a rolled her eyes, which reminded my of someone.
"Hey, Alexander?" I said.
"Mmm," he hummed at me.
"Where's Delilah?" I asked him, referring to my friend from Assassin Academy, only to find out she was only there to keep an eye on me.
"Good question, she had another mission to do, but she gave me a message for you," he told me.
Then I asked him what the message was.
"That she'll be here soon, so stop worrying."
I nodded my head and asked where my room was.
Brianne was the one who showed me where it was located.
To the left (Beside my room) was Jaxon's room, then to the right of my room was Alexander's.
And then, directly across the hall from my room was Jessie's, and on either side of Jessie's room was Brianne and Hanna's.
"Thanks for showing me to my room," I said to Brianna gratefully.
"No problem," she waved me off and told my to unpack my things.
To bad I didn't have anything to unpack, they were all left in the trunk of the jeep.
Dammit.
I set my backpack on the bedside table, took off my shoes and socks, climbed under the covers, and shut my eyes as tight I could.
And then, I unconsciously let my muscles relax, and fell into an epitome of darkness.
