"I probably shouldn't tell you but,
if I - if I let you know, you can't tell nobody, I'm talking 'bout nobody. Are you responsible? Boy I gotta watch my back, 'cause I'm not just anybody. Is it my goal? Is it your goal? Sometimes I'm goody, goody, right now I'm naughty, naughty. Say yes or say no, 'cause I really need somebody, tell me your that somebody," - Aaliyah

"Ray?" Someone said softly while knocking on my bedroom door.

"Leave me alone," I said to them.

I wasn't crying. No, I never cry. I just wanted to be alone, I wanted to ponder in my own sadness.

"You know I won't do that," as the figure came closer, he sat down on my bed.

"Alex, I don't know what I ever did to deserve all these bad things," I told him.

He looked at me with sad eyes, "Expecting life to be nice to you is like expecting a lion not to eat you because you're a vegetarian," he told me.

I laughed, "Only you Alex, only you," I slid under the covers, and pulled them up to my neck.

Then, Alex did the same.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"Lying down. How about you?"

I rolled my eyes and laid down on my stomach, letting my face turn towards Alex.

"I've never met anybody like you," I said to him.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Your so... Weird," I said finally.

"Same goes for you, Ray-Ray," he said to me, "same goes for you,"

Then, we both fell asleep.

We both fell asleep.

************

"What the hell?!"

"Jaxon, calm down,"

"Don't tell me to fucking calm down Hanna! They are sleeping in the same bed!"

"So what?!"

Just then the sheets were ripped off of my body.

"Raelyn, stop hogging the blankets. Your making me cold," Alexander said from beside me.

But still, I pretended to be asleep.

"News flash Alex, it's Jaxon! Not your little girlfriend Raelyn,"

"Why are you in here?" Alex asked tiredly.

Then that's when Jaxon's fuse blew.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN RAELYN'S BED?!" He yelled.

That's when I 'woke up'.

"Why the hell are you yelling?" I asked Jaxon.

"Because this doofus snuck into your bed!"

"Alexander didn't sneak into my bed, you fool," I said to Jaxon with a scowl, "we just fell asleep,"

"I need everyone downstairs now!" Yelled Mr. Pillar from downstairs.

We all groaned.

"Piggy back ride?" Alexander asked me while taking in my tired face.

"Only if you want to," I said to him, not wanting to tire him out anymore than he already is.

He crouched down and stuck his hands out.

I jumped on his back and then he trotted out of the room and down the stairs, and into the main hall.

"Today is mission day," Mr. Pillar told us, eyeing Alex before looking at everyone else.

"What's our objective?" Brianne asked.

"To assassinate James Dylan. He is one of the key allies that are working with Theo, and if we assassinate him, almost half of Theo's weaponry supply will be ripped away like a rug underneath his feet,"

"What are our roles?" Hanna asked.

"Jessie will be our inside man with Alex by his side. Since your setting will be at Mr. Dylan's pool party, Brianne and Raelyn are to go and mingle with him, they are the distractions. While Ray and Brianne are distracting James, they'll have to do something to make him go in a deserted place. And then, Jaxon and Hanna will go, and assassinate him," Mr. Pillar explained.

"Why can't Ray and I just kill him when we're in the deserted place?" Brianne asked.

"Because then you two will be getting all the fun," Hanna scowled at us.

"Suck it up buttercup," I told her with a fake smile, "life's a bitch, move the fuck on," I said, then Brianne added to that.

"Yeah, the world doesn't revolve around you and your needs," Brianne looked like she was talked about something only she and Hanna knew, "deal with it," she said, and the finality in her voice told everyone that this conversation was over.

"Everyone! Suit up! We don't have any more room for fuck ups tonight," Mr. Pillar yelled at us.

Well, looks like its mission time.
