"I need to know now, know now, can you love me again? I need to know now, know now, can you love me again?" - John Newman
--
I've been thinking about James' offer for a while know, and I don't know a way I could get my father and Mr. Pillar to allow me to let James free of his chains so that I could get James to tell me what his 'Boss' said about me.
And to be honest, I don't know why I care so much.
But, my thoughts were interrupted when my father walked through my door, and into my room.
"Hello, Ray," he greeted me.
"Hello, father," I said back, keeping my eyes casted down.
"I was wondering if I could ask you about something?"
"Shoot," I said.
"I know I've been really mean to you, and sometimes I need to me more of a father than a coach," he stated.
"And?" I prompted.
"I was just wondering if you could forgive me for all of the mean things I've said to you? I mean, I'm still going to be hard on you, because I want the best for you. But I just want you to know that I'm sorry."
With that, he sighed and left the room.
But, I guess everybody makes mistakes, right?
So, yes dad, you're forgiven.

"So, what did James say to you?" Hanna asked, inquisitively.
"That's between me and him," I said back at her.
"What are you hiding Raelyn?" Hanna prodded.
"He just told me some stuff that made me think, that's all," I told her sincerely.
"Your not going to back out on the mission, are you?"
"God, no," I said, "he just made me think, that's all,"
"Think about what?" Hanna asked again.
"Jesus Christ, Hanna. Stop terrorizing the girl, your gonna make her ears bleed from all of those stupid questions," Mr. Pillar said her.
Since Mr. Pillar was Hanna's father, I could totally understand why she blushed so much she looked like a tomato.
"You always pick her side," Hanna accused her father.
"Because her side is easier," he folded.
Hanna gasped, "Since when was Raelyn's side easier? All she does is stand around and look pretty while the rest of us are busting our asses trying to fix the messes that she most likely made,"
In my opinion, Hanna was preaching a whole lot of bullshit. When have I ever made a mess that she had to clean up? All she does is sit around and paint her nails.
"When we were back at AA, Raelyn was the one who wanted to go back to the school to see if there were anymore students. Heck, even Brianne wanted to go, along with Jaxon too. But my own daughter was the only one who was a coward, and said, 'But there might be killers there!'." Mr. Pillar made his voice disgustingly high to try and imitate Hanna's.
And let me tell you he wasn't trying to be funny, in fact, he looked more pissed than when I told my father that I lost my knife... my third knife in a month that is.
And around that time, money was tight for us, I was left at home with my grandma because both of my parents were out trying to succumb up some food, and also taking extra missions for a little additional pay.
