The next couple days went like a blur for Betty. She was able to get out of going to dinner with the Andrews, thankfully. Unfortunately there were people paying even more attention to Betty than they were before. Mostly because they could tell that she was in some sort of slump. The past couple days she hasn't been the Betty Cooper everyone had known.

Her hair wasn't in its ponytail but in this messy bun, she either wore a t-shirt or a hoodie, with some leggings, and her glasses. It was the sort of outfit she would wear at home not at school. School wasn't the play to dress homie, it was the reason that she mostly wore dresses or a skirt, sometimes jeans, but rarely.

Today, which was Friday, she woke up and dragged herself out of bed, being thankful that she wouldn't have to see everyone for another 2 days. It wasn't enough, but it was something at least. Seeing Archie and Veronica go back to their couple state, as if nothing bad happened, made Betty sick.

She jumped in the shower, letting the warm water hit against her bare body. This was the only time she felt at peace, not having to worry about anyone or anything. After a few minutes she got out of the shower and wrapped her white soft towel against her body. She walked up to her mirror, with fog covered over it, wiping her hand over it. Her reflection looked back at her, she asked herself, What the hell are you doing? Sulking because of  Archie Andrews?

Betty walked away, grabbing some undergarments and went to her closet. She took out a pull over sweater that was beige and had yellow and black stripes going around. She grabbed some black Nike leggings, with white running shoes. Her vanity seat was filled by her own body. Grabbing a brush , she went through her hair with it. She pulled it up into a not so well done bun. Lightly she applied some makeup and chapstick.

After she was done with her facial things, she grabbed her glasses and looked at herself one more time in the mirror. Soon this will all blow over....hopefully.

Betty grabbed her bag and went downstairs, heading straight to the front door. She was met with a bouquet of yellow flowers on her front steps. She rolled her eyes knowing exactly who it was from. Veronica. She had been sending Betty tons of flowers, sweets, etc. Betty chose to ignore it all, giving Jughead and Jellybean the sweets. She grabbed the flowers and walked back into the kitchen. She grabbed a vase and filled it with water and placed the flowers in.

"Another bouquet is it?" Jughead asked while walking into the kitchen.

"Yep, this time they're yellow," she answered back. He laughed at her response.

"When are you and her gonna get back together."he questioned.

"I don't know, why does it matter to you?"

"Well, it's kinda uncomfortable hanging around with Archie and Veronica without you there. Feeling like a third wheel."

"Ah, well you'll be third wheeling for a little while longer."

"Sucks, i've missed having you around to hang with."

"Jug, we live together."

"Yeah, but we don't hang out like we do with Archie and Veronica."

"Fine, then today during school, we'll hang out. Instead of being around them, you can be around me and we can hang out." Betty suggested.

"Yeah, let's do it," Jughead accept.

They grabbed their bags and left for school. The two walked together to school.

Back with Archie at his house

He had woken up to the alarm on his phone going off. He groaned and pushed himself off his bed. Walking up to his window he tried looking for the blonde next door. She had been avoiding him and Veronica for days now. He wanted to talk to her but every-time he tried she would find a way to avoid him.
