Note: Not proofread, mostly because I'm too lazy to actually read the whole thing. Sorry, not sorry!
Monday Morning
Betty woke up in the morning, not feeling well, but tried to shake it off. She got herself ready for the day, with her backpack and hair up in a ponytail. As she was walking out of her room, Jughead also left his room. The two faced each other, knowing that they haven't spoke since Jugheads questioning. Betty smiled and walked down the stairs, to see her mom waiting at the stairs.
"Betty, we need to talk" Alice stated. She froze, all sorts of things ran through her head. Did Jughead tell mom what happened at Cheryls?
"Yeah, what's up" Betty replied acting as casual as she can be.
"I wanted to let you know that FP and I are going to be leaving tonight." she informed Betty.
"What do you mean leaving?"
"Betty, I told you last week, that we have a trip for the rest of this week."
"Oh yeah, sorry, it must've slipped out of my mind."
"Well, now that you have been reinformed about this, please try to keep everything the way it is. You already know the rules."
"Yes mom, I know." Betty grabbed her lunch from the kitchen and placed it into her backpack.
"Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I spoke with Mrs. Andrews-"
"Wait, Mrs.Andrews?!"
"Yes Betty, that is what I said, anyway-"
"As in Archie Andrews Mom?"
"Yes Betty, who else would I be speaking of? What is going on with you?"
"Nothing nothing sorry, what were you saying?"
"I was saying that I spoke with her and she agreed to check up on you kids everyday. You will also be having dinner with her every night."
"What?! Mom, Jughead and I aren't children. We do not need to have dinner with them."
"Elizabeth, I do not care about how you are feeling about this. I have made this decision. It is final! Now say goodbye to me and FP and get to school."
Betty sighed, not feeling to great about having to eat dinner with Archie for the rest of the week. She gave her mom a hug and kiss on the cheek. Walking to the door, she opened it to see Archie there standing. They looked at each other for a couple of seconds, until she rolled her eyes at him and closed the door. Betty was trying her best to avoid him, but her mom and him included made it impossible.
She walked to the kitchen and went out the back door, sneaking around to the front to see if Archie was still there. Archie was standing there hands in front pockets talking to her mom, making her laugh. It made her sick to her stomach, more than she already felt. She made a run for it, hoping no one saw her. Making her way behind a car, she turned to look back at her family and saw Archie looking right at her smirking. He took his phone out and Betty's phone buzzed, she opened it to see Archie's name on it.
Nice hiding spot, ;)
-Archie
She looked back him seeing him already looking at her waiting for her to text him back. Her eyes went back to her phone and she texted him back.
I wouldn't have to hide if it weren't for you, and your need to be everywhere I go
Betty's eyes locked eyes with Archie's, they stood looking at one another for what felt like for ever. She finally decided to start walking away, leaving Archie watch her walk away to school.
