Chapter 1 : First Meeting at the Academy

(Y/n)'s 7 years old, Shikamaru's 7 years old

(Y/n) POV

I woke up from my sleep, the alarm had called me earlier. My eyes were still heavy and I wanted to continue sleeping, but considering that today was my first day at the academy, I had to get out of bed and go to the bathroom.

I take a shower, change clothes, and prepare all the equipment that must be brought to the academy later. I went into the kitchen and saw that my mother had been preparing food for a long time.

"Morning (Y/n)" Greet my mom

"Morning mom" I greeted my mother back.

"Eat first, the food is already ready"

"Yes mom"

I sat and ate, my mother cleaned the cooking utensils. There was no conversation between the two of us. Then I realized that my father wasn't home.

"Where's dad?"

"Dad went to the place where dad was on a mission"

"Oh"

I finish my meal quickly, tidy it up, then get ready to go to school

(Y/n) POV

I arrived at school and immediately met a jonin named Asuma. He took me to my class.

I thanked him and entered my class.
In class I was guided by a teacher named Iruka. He silenced the whole class and asked me to introduce myself.

"My name is (Y/n) (L/n), you can call me (Y/n)" I bowed.

At one time the class was bustling again, and one of them asked,

"Does the (L/n) clan still exist? I heard from the rumors that the clan is extinct"

I who heard it also trembled a little, and forced not to express anything, then I answered,

"The rumors are true, and only my family's whereabouts are known"

After I answered that question, almost the whole class asked about how my clan was doing. I just kept quiet until Iruka-sensei stopped them all.

"Enough of the introduction, now please (Y/n) sit next to Shikamaru. Shikamaru, stand up and raise your hands!"

The person named Shikamaru immediately raised his hand lazily and I walked towards him. Then I sat down without saying a word. I heard him mutter 'troublesome' and put his head back on his desk.

Shikamaru POV

Troublesome.. Why do I have to stand up and raise my hand anyway..

I stood up and raised my hand, then (Y/n) went to my side of the table and sat beside me, he was just silent and didn't look at me.

"Troublesome.." I muttered.

(Y/n) POV

Finally, lunch time arrived. I didn't eat my lunch because I forgot to put it in, so I decided to open the lesson I just noted down.

My seatmate woke up because his friend woke him up. I ignore them. But his friend made me have to stop reading the textbook.

"(Y/n), didn't you eat lunch?" Asked his friend.

"I didn't bring it" Answer me fast.

"Oo I see. Do you want to eat with us?" His friend asked me again.
