Chapter 10 : Sorry

Shikamaru POV

"Shikamaru..." She said quietly.

"Hmm?" I looked at her.

"I'm sorry if I always bother you.. And I'm sorry for not telling you .." She said in a languid tone.

What's wrong with her?

"It's okay, don't worry about it" I said simply.

I saw her cleaning the kitchen which I didn't think was too dirty. I was a little confused by her behavior when she was cleaning the part she had cleaned earlier.

Why do woman do that anyway?

"Shikamaru.. Please.. Don't keep looking at me like that.." She said a little nervous and embarrassed because I kept looking at her. I was also suddenly embarrassed and turned my face the other way.

"Sorry.. I-I didn't mean to" I stuttered. (Y/n) just chuckled and continued to clean up.

Then I was carried away by a thought that had made me wonder. How can she copy my chakra? And why is she able to give me chakra so easily? As far as I know only top tier jonin can do it.

"(Y/n), I want to ask" I said starting the conversation. She's done the work.

"Hmm?" Response from her.

"How can you copy my chakra? And why you can give me chakra so easily? Don't you feel like you're running out of chakra?" I ask a lot of things as I looked at her. She froze and did nothing.

"How can I tell it.. It's very difficult to explain.." She said while scratching his neck that didn't itch.

"You don't need to answer now. It's very troublesome if I wait here just because you're thinking about the answer" I said as I stood up. She just chuckled and approached me.

"Well, how do you think? The food is good, isn't it?" She asked giggling. I just nodded. I felt my cheeks heat up because she was too close.

"I'm leaving now" I said as I pulled away from her.

"Eh? Why are you in such a hurry?" she asked.

"I still have a lot of things to do, you know" I replied lazily.

"Eh? The Shikamaru I know doesn't like to deal with troublesome things" She said while posing like a thinking person.

"It's really troublesome, but what can I do" I answered shortly as I approached a window. I opened it and left (Y/n) alone.

(Y/n) POV

Well.. Shikamaru left.. Even though I meant to tease him..

I sighed. My plan failed just because he chose to leave instead of staying. I left the kitchen and went to my room.

I continued reading the book containing information about the (L/n) clan. And I saw the things that the clan leader could do.

The clan leader can master 5 basic elemental jutsu, mastering medical ninjutsu very quickly, but there are conditions. The condition is that he/she must really think about what he/she has to protect, and he/she must also have thoughts about the person he/she is protecting.

What are the conditions? Very weird..

I don't know if it's really necessary or not, but it's really hard to understand for a 10 year old kid. I sighed then closed the book and lay down on the bed. My mind was focused on that condition.

The terms are too difficult for me to understand..

I grumbled that I couldn't find an answer. Finally I chose to take a break from the thoughts that bothered me.
