Chapter 9 : Visiting (L/n)'s Residence

(Y/n) POV

I'm looking for some data in the book. Data about (L/n)'s kekkei genkai, (L/n) clan's forbidden jutsu and others.

Not long after that someone rang in front of my house.

I rushed to the door and opened it. I can't believe what I'm seeing now. It turned out that the one in front of me was Shikamaru. I was a little awkward when I faced him. But I tried not to be seen by Shikamaru.

"Hi, Shikamaru" I greeted. He looked at me with a lazy look.

"What do you need here?" I asked. Shikamaru was silent to think of words.

"Nothing, just making sure you're still alive" He turns then walks away but I hold him back. Looks like he's not in the mood.

"You must be tired huh? I can see from the look on your face. If you want to sleep, you can sleep in my room, I still want to take care of many things" I smiled. Shikamaru who saw me sighed then smiled a little.

"Okay, troublesome girl" he said.

I invited him in and led him to my room. Shikamaru immediately lay down on my bed and closed his eyes. I continued reading the book in search of information about the remaining (L/n) clan.

Is there really nothing left? Or just unknown?

I turned to the next page, and found information about the (L/n) clan leader. I read it and moments later my eyes widened in disbelief.

The chakra of the (L/n) clan leader is almost equivalent to the chakra of a Jinchuuriki. But the difference is that the chakra of (L/n)'s leader is limitless and can imitate the type of chakra of the enemy in front of him/her. Chakra used will be immediately filled and full again.

Unbelievable.. I have chakra like that??

I understand know why once I get the mark, calamity will come my way.

The main reason is that if the chakra is exactly like someone else's chakra, then it is easy to transfer one's own chakra and give that chakra to others. But it would be fatal if that person was in the wrong hands.

The book explains that every person who is touched by the leader of the (L/n) clan, he/she will receive the chakra. But that can be avoided, by using a temporary seal and the seal can be used many times.

I turned to the next page and saw how to make the seal, then did it. I also saw how to open the seal and then I did it again and I will use it in the future.

I saw Shikamaru who was fast asleep on my bed. I smiled a little because I saw her tiny body when seen from the bed. It's true that he's shorter than me.

He looks so tired..
