A plan was already forming in my head when we all bustled out into the courtyard for our free period
.I've been pretty calm around our group, the group of the most popular kids in school, I might add, so I hope the people I'm going ask for help is going to actually help me.
I don't mind this, but I'm kind of a minor character in the group.
So this is my chance to prove myself, if it works.
I dragged all the boys over.
Sunny came along as well.
As if we invited you, but of course I didn't say that aloud.
"Listen up," I said, as the other more popular girls shooed Coconut away.
"What?" Winter demanded.
"We're gonna prank them." I jerked my head at the others.
Sunny clapped her hands cheerfully. "What prank?"
"Don't go too far," Deathy warned.
"I won't!" I protested. "It's a nice joke that'll be awesome." I beckoned them to lean in and I whispered my plan to them.
"Sit HERE not THERE," Qibli yelled at Kinkajou.
"Tsunami! Listen!" Riptide cried.
Tsunami raised an eyebrow at him but listened.
"Glory! Stop hitting me!" Deathy yelped.
"Moon! Sit DOWN!" I yelled.
Moon jumped and sat down.
"Peril stand here," Clay said, and Peril did.
Sunny and Starflight were watching curiously.
Winter and Qibli were also part of the prank, joining in so the other's won't get too suspicious.
"Now, I'll sit here, and Winter'll stand there, and then we'll show you a girl surprise!" Qibli declared.
"But you're not a girl," Peril said flatly.
"Peril stating the obvious," Winter observed.
Qibli waved his arms around. "Just DO IT."
Peril shrugged.
"Ready Riptide?" Qibli asked.
"Onetwothree CHEESE," Riptide raised a camera and took a picture.
Winter, who had been of course not ready, jumped, and made an awkward face while Qibli laughed his face off.
Kinkajou was caught tying up her hair, but the others managed to smile.
Tsunami didn't smile; she didn't even look at the camera.
After that Kinkajou throttled us all but the others loved it.
