Glory
All of us flooded out of the infirmary. We were all too worried to remember who was who and who was in charge of what.
Fathom was apologizing non stop and the only one who would listen to him was Turtle.
Apparently the two of them were best buds now.
"Kinkajou!" I yelled. "Get all the RainWings and tell them to assemble in the conservatory. Every single one. Get helpers if you can." Kinkajou ran off.
I heard my friends also yelling to their seconds to gather all their tribes.
"Meet back up in the auditorium in thirty minutes!" I heard Tsunami yell at everyone and I was too busy to tell her that who was she to give orders?
I ran down the halls alone to to the conservatory. I flung open the doors and met with Kinkajou.
The loudspeaker sounded.
"Emergency. All MudWings report to the Cafeteria, all SandWings to the history room, all SkyWings to the flight stadium, all SeaWings to the main locker room, all IceWings to the geography room, all RainWings to the conservatory, and all NightWings to the library for an important meeting run by your princesses. Emergency"
This message was repeated over and over again until finally, every RainWing was stuffed inside the conservatory, side by side with turnips.
I caught someone eat one.
"RainWings!" I shouted.
Nobody listened.
As expected
I doubt Tsunami would be having this problem.
She always knew how to make herself heard. Maybe I could try a Tsunami tactic and scream my head off.
Wait no
That's undignified
Like the walrus she was

I wanted to call my inner dragon, but I didn't have proper training for that yet
Ohhhhhh curses to the school for leaving that course until our sophomore year.
"RainWings!" I bellowed.
This time, some people listened. Then they continued to talk.
I gritted my teeth and shouted, "if you all don't shut your mouths then there will be no turnips and then we'll continue this in the locker rooms!"
That got everyone to shut up.
"Waaaaat," someone whined.
I did my best to ignore him. "Our school is facing a threat," I said. "As princess of you (dimwits) people, it's my job to make sure you are all ready to face it,"
"We can't do anything," someone said plainly.
"I wholeheartedly agree with you," I said to him. "Which is why we princesses are just letting you know, then we can go through all the necessary procedures to get you battle ready. Darkstalker has a tribe of his own, we don't know who, but they'll be strong if he dares wage war against an entire school,"
I strode down the hall, Tsunami and Sunny right beside me. The other princesses had ruled that we must, MUST get the people to all switch to dragon form. And for that we need the teachers to TEACH the kids.
Tsunami and Alligator had written a list demanding what things we needed to accomplish.
At the top of the list was getting everyone to learn to shift.
Moon and Ember were in charge of that, since Moon could see the future, but apparently not see the outcome of the battle, and SkyWings usually got their forms quicker than others.
Next was preparing weapons, armor, anything they would need for combat.
Tsunami had readily raised her hand. Who would have guessed.
Next was battle tactics- I would do that with Sunny.
Which left Winter and Alligator to figure out resources.
Poor Winter, but I ain't doing that.
All this for one week.
I don't think we can do it.
