Chapter 15- A Hot Mitch

~Mitch's PoV~

It's so hot. I'm so hot. Why do I feel like I'm on fire? Something's....not right.

My eyes flickered open, I try to move but notice I'm strapped down to a table. Wait- strapped down? I turn my head from side to side and recognize everything, I'm in the facility and I'm being experimented on. There are test tubes everywhere and papers scattered along the desk tops. But only one person is in here that seems to catch my attention, do I know her?

"Oh, you're awake." The nurse said calmly as she adjusted her glasses. "How do you feel?"

I could only stare, why was the school nurse in the facility? "Dr. Pepper." I whispered as I remembered the name from the desk in her office, but I felt like I knew her more.

She smiled. "You remember my name, that's good. At least you remember everything, I was worried they messed with your head again." Dr. Pepper sighed. "But the scientists only experimented on your physical abilities this time."

I clenched my fists and noticed the heat in them increasing more than usual. I knew this person more than she did. "That's not your name though...it's Bobette."

That caught her off guard and she started at me with a perplexed expression that moved into a sly smile. "Only doctors at the facility from that mental hospital called me that, how'd you know boy?"

My hands began to feel more like fire that actual hands now. "Because, we were cell mates before that fire that you caused to burn down the place."

Dr. Pepper slipped off her glasses and my smooth grin dropped instantaneously. "Hm, it seems that you're in need of an amputation. That big head of yours knows too much already Mitchell."

The straps melted and I managed to stand up and put my hand on the door before she powered the chainsaw. "If you think I'm going to let you try to help me like you did then. Then you're crazier than I ever thought you'd be!"

I ran out of the room and ran smack into another scientist who seemed panicked already. He screamed and ran away from me, so I followed the path he came from. The alarms were screaming, lights flashing red and were the only things brighting up the hallway due to the blackout. Every few minutes I would check behind me to make sure that lunatic wasn't following me like a creeper.

"We need to find Mitch, go check that hallway while I go to the cells!" I heard a familiar voice order.

"J-Jerome?" I stuttered.

My friend turned around and smiled. "Biggums! Ty I found Mitch!"

Ty raced back and grinned while Jerome bear hugged me. "How'd you guys find me?"

"We realized you, Jason, Sky, and Seto were missing once I got home and worried. I knew the school was working with the facility somehow and so we explored the school and found a passage. It lead here and a whole bunch of scientists began to scream like little girls once Ty busted out his Enderdragon wings. We found you, but we still need to find the others!" Jerome explained.

"Seto contacted me after school was out, I think he's in the Nether but I'm not sure if he's alone." Ty said.

"I remember I dragged him to the nurses office after he had an outburst of power. Then...then I'm not sure what happened but I remember hearing Adam's voice." I said.

"We need to find Jason still and how are we getting to the Nether anyways? It's not like there's a portal to the underworld lying around this place." Jerome argued.

"Actually there's a sign pointing towards the portal room and cells." Ty whispered.

"Let's go there then!"

We turned to the sign that pointed down the hallway and ran into the crazy nurse I had problems with earlier. She gave us a craze look and lifted up her chainsaw, claiming that all of us need brain surgery. Ty flew over her head and knocked her weapon to the floor and Jerome smacked her in the gut. The wind was knocked out of her but she managed to grab Ty's wing as he attempted to transform back and tossed him into me. He muttered a sorry and Jerome nearly lost it, he grabbed her lab coat and spun her around and knocked her into the wall.

"Come on!" He shouted. We followed him and avoided the nurse.

"I'll go check the cells, you two go make sure the portal is activated!" I yelled.

I sprinted down the hall and found myself in the cells. I tried shouting Jason's name but got no response. All the rooms were empty, finally I checked the last one and noticed a small bump in a pile of blankets. Jason. He poked his head out of the covers and ran towards me.

"Mitch! How'd you find me so quickly?"

"Well you were just under the school, we both were." I said. I wrapped my hands around the bars and watched as they melted, making a small hole for Jason to escape.

"Since when could you do that and how am I under the school if there's snow outside?"

I shrugged. "Ever since I woke up and I'm not too sure about the snow but we can get answers later. Let's just go, Jerome and Ty should be at the portals."

We sneaked out and managed to avoid any trouble with any doctors. Jason and I made it to the portal room and watched Jerome as he activated the portal.

"We don't know where it'll go, but we need to get Seto and Adam." Ty claimed.

"Wait Seto and Adam are in there, the Nether?" Jason questioned.

Jerome nodded. "The thing is, either we will get stuck in there and possibly die or the scientists are going to follow us and capture all of us."

"It's a risk we have to take. We can take some obsidian with us and some flint, incase we need a quick escape." Jason insisted.

"Alright, who wants to go in first?" I asked aloud.

Ty volunteered. He stepped in with no hesitation and we assumed that he was alright. Jerome went in, then Jason. I gathered some obsidian from the chest and noticed the scattered papers on the desk some titled Failed Nether Adventures and The Ender Dragon.

"Mitchhh...." A voice called out from the hallway.

I cursed. "Not you again."

The insane nurse from earlier stumbled inside with her neck tilted in an odd way. She was a failed experiment from Generation Two, she couldn't die and had a gender disorder.

"M-Mitchell...you can't l-leave me again..." Dr. Pepper muttered in a unholy tone.

"Fine, you want to follow me to hell?" I walked in front of the portal with the papers in hand. "Come at me."

She screamed and sprinted strait at me and knocked us both into the portal. We reappeared in a world with lava and netherrack, we fell on the red ground and rolled towards the cliff. She continued to yell as she dangled off the cliff and dragged me down into the lava ocean beneath our feet.
