Chapter 5- Don't be late for reality

~Sky's PoV~

Enderlox glared at me then shot his gaze over to Seto and sent him flying against the brick house. Knocked the sorcerer out for sure, but didn't kill him.

I materialized an enchanted budder sword in my grasp, then lunged myself at Enderlox, aiming strait for his heart. He chuckled at me lightly, thereupon spreading his wings, launched himself into the air and dodged my attack.

"Be careful Adam, I might obtain control for now but your friend still exists in me. You kill me, you murder your best friend." Enderlox claimed.

I hesitated before constructing my next move, I couldn't afforded to lose Ty.

Abruptly, Enderlox clawed my back in an instant and hurled me to the ground. He crushed my hand under his left foot and whacked the diamond sword out of my hand. His obsidian sword dug into the ground, and barely missed my head.

"I don't remember you being so, feeble. The day we escaped that prison, you showcased your full potential as a Hero-hybrid. Now, you-"

"Do you ever shut up?"

I teleported behind Enderlox and drop kicked him into the house across the street. I wonder why the author hasn't wrote anything about neighbors, shouldn't the police be here by now?

[It's the fifth chapter and you're already breaking the fourth wall?!?! Get back to the story and stop thinking about what I'm writing Sky!!]

"Geez..." I sighed.

I steadied myself, grabbed my diamond sword and prepared for any sudden movements from the pile of debris, which stacked on top of Enderlox. The bricks shifted and red pleading eyes met mine almost instantly.

I released my sword from my hand, vanished then re-appeared at Ty's side. Without thinking, I tossed bricks off of Ty and helped him out of the mess.

"Ty, are you okay?"

"Yeah," He gazed up at me and shifted his eyes from red to purple, "but you won't be."

His claws scraped my arm and dragged them across my face, leaving scars for sure. I nearly lost my balance from shock and that's when he saw his opportunity, he swung his foot under mine and made me collapse to the ground.

As I rolled to the side, I avoided the obsidian sword that plunged the Earth, in the exact spot where I laid about two seconds ago. I regain my balance and release a powerful force that knocked down Enderlox to the ground.

Although the force ate some of my energy, I released a war cry as I knocked myself into Enderlox and kept him from reacquiring his footing. We tumbled down the small hill and bashed each other, both of us trying to overshadow one another.

Enderlox resulted in pinning me down, a confident yet devious grin swept across his face. He raised his sword above me and let out a mischievous laugh.

I shut my eyes and braced myself for the impact, but it never came.

"N-NO! DON'T D-DO DIS!"

I peeked at Enderlox and witnessed his lock of hair moved to the side, reveling his purple and red eyes. Ty was fighting back the corruption of Enderlox.

~Ty's PoV~

"Ty, are you okay?" Adam asked.

Enderlox switched his eyes from a red to his deep purple, "Yeah...but you won't be."

'SKY RUN!' I yelled in my head.

He clawed Adams face and smacked my friend to his feet. Acting quickly, Enderlox grabbed his weapon and plunged it into the ground, but missed it's target by a mile.

Adam reeled away and reclaimed his footing. He released a powerful force that knocked Enderlox off his feet. Before he could react to the sudden jolt, Adam rammed into him and threw himself down the slope, with Enderlox rolling down with him.

As they reached the end of the little hill, Enderlox succeeded in pinning down Adam. He raised his indestructible sword above Adam as he released an evil laugh.

'Finally I will complete my life purpose..Finally!' Enderlox thought.

'No...STOP!' I yelled in my head.

He laughed more. 'Its far too late for you to do anything now, Deadlox.'

'Watch me.'

I gather up my strength and force Enderlox into the depths of my consciousness. The sword falls out of his grip as he turned his full attention to me.

'You foolish mortal, you cannot defeat me!'

I ignore his comments and concentrate on regaining control of my own body.

'I'm trying to save you and your friend form them, you idiot!'

'What are you talking about, Enderlox?' I asked, my curiosity getting the best of me.

'You really think the facility would just let you run freely? They've been tracking you since you enrolled into your public high school! Since you postponed my mission, the insane scientist are going to hunt you two down now and make your life like it was eleven years ago in that lab!'

'I will not go back to purgatory. Thanks for the useful information though.'

And with that, he faded away in my head, along with the Enderdragon-like wings, leaving me with my own thoughts.

"T-Ty?" Adam stuttered.

I glanced at my friend, still frightened a little from my little scene. I reach my hand out to him and help him to his feet.

Sirens blasted down the street with flashing blue and red lights. The police?

"About time the author acknowledges the neighbors, one of them must've contacted the cops." Adam muttered.

"What?" I asked, perplexed.

[ADAM WHYYYYY]

He shook it off with his signature laugh and peeked at me.

"Never mind, let's get Seto and the others out of here before the cops catch us."

"Alright, let's go!"
