~Sky's PoV~

Eleven years ago, I was an experiment a test subject to scientist who clammed it was for the better of mankind, and now I'm stuck in an academy for "special" teens. I'm not sure why they put "special" on their website for the school, but I'm almost certain it's under the influence of those sick people who sticked needles in me. I'm not the only one who hates the scientist with a passion, they kidnapped and tested different chemicals on a handful of four to six year olds. Only ten to thirteen escaped with their life's.

I glare at the school, two stories high with two wings. Freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior hallways, filled with bright blue lockers. The school was established a year ago but was still fairly new to the small city of Cubgin (cube-gin) and really big too. I decided to attend the school as a senior, so if anything bad happened, I wouldn't have to worry about coming back anytime soon.

"Hey, you must be the new student, need help finding your locker?" A girl with brown hair and blond highlights asked.

"No, I think I know my way. Thanks anyway um.." I trailed off.

"Ashley Marie, but everyone calls me Ashley. And your name is?" Ashley asked.

"Adam, but my friends call me Sky." I introduced myself.

"Hm, strange nickname, anyways if you need to know where anything is, just ask!" Ashley said.

I waved bye to her as I made my way up the stairs to the senior hallway, second floor on the left. The hall's almost empty except for a couple of teens leaning against their lockers, waiting for school to begin. 532, 533, 534, 535! I find my locker in no time, but some other teen is against his locker, right next to mine. His head is going to be hit by my locker if he doesn't move.

I try to get his attention my repeatedly asking him to move, but the guys freaking death. After a minute or two, I noticed the green headphones on his head, why do those seem so familiar? I kick his left foot a little, but he's out cold. Finally I grab his phone and turn the volume all the way up. He jumps, throws his headphones off his head and breaths in deeply, shocked by the music that blasted in his ears.

"What the hell?!" He raises himself to his feet and stare at me right in the eye. "What was that for?"

I raised my hands in defense. "Your head was going to be slammed by locker if you didn't mine but you wouldn't wake up. So-"

"So you tried to make my ears bleed?!" He aggressively picked up his headphones "I swear if you made me brake this I will bash your head into a locker." He slipped them onto his neck and sighed in frustration as he turned his gaze away from me.

Why does if feel like I know him? His voice seems familiar but so different at the same time. I pull down my shades a bit and get his attention, once he's locked eye contact with me, I let my eyes turn white. "Were you kidnapped eleven years ago and experimented on?"

"Yes." He answered with no emotion. Suddenly his eyes flicker purple then back to green. "What the hell? I only know one guy that could do that!"

"And I know someone who has purple eyes, Ty."

Ty stares at me with disbelief. "I thought you went back to your home town, to find your parents."

"I did, but I only found courses littered along the streets with burnt down homes. The scientist had a breakout occur there a few weeks before I escaped." A tear rolls down my cheek, but I let it fall to my chin then wipe it away. "What have you been up to? I barely recognize you."

Ty smiled at me. "I found others who escaped a facility a couple of days after I escaped. We became friends and stuck with each other for a while. When I was twelve, we found someone who had been apart of the new experiments. He's able to make things appear out of thin air, enchant weapons, and even fly."

"What kind of things are they injecting into kids now?" I asked. When Ty and I were subjects in the facility, they tested the power of mobs on kids. It was bad enough they made kids creeper hybrids, none of them survived.

"They're using potions on them, not just the regular speed or jump boost either, they're using permeant potions. Trying to make an all powerful spell caster, a sorcerer." Ty explained.

"A sorcerer, is that what your friend is?"

"No, he was labeled as a failed experiment. He was unstable and couldn't control his powers so they decided to kill him, but he escaped by taking their life's instead. The guy's really quiet and doesn't like to talk about his past that much."

The conversation trails off and we're stuck in awkward silence.

"So why'd you use your power on me earlier? You could've asked me my name or something." Ty suggested.

I shrug. "I wanted to make sure it was you, if it wasn't you I would've made some random guy think I was crazy or something."

Ty laughed. "Wouldn't be the first time."

I let out a small laugh. "Yeah, your right."

"Hey! You! I know you were apart of the 4th generation experiments! You're suppose to be dead!" A person down the hall yells, pointing strait at me.

I curse under my breath and throw my bag down, holding my hands up, ready to defend myself.

Ty laid his hand on my shoulder. "Seto, you can cut the act. He's cool."

A guy in a purple cloak appears right in front of Ty and I. "Oh, sorry Adam!" Seto laughed.

"Huh? How'd you know my-"

"Real name? I can read minds but it kinda sucks because it happens at random times and I can't switch it on or off. So it can be really useful sometimes or really annoying." Seto grinned. "Allow me to intoduce myself, I'm Seto, I've heard a lot about you from Ty." After he finished, he held out his hand for me to shake.

"I've heard about you too, Seto. Nice to finally meet you."

I take his hand- A blur takes over my sight and I'm in the facility again. Seto stands over a bleeding girl, then he decapitates her. I release my hand from Setos grip and can only hope that he didn't read my mind.

'Can Seto be trusted?'
